Buoy base bears resemblance to sea slide too, maybe that’s why he ordered the penguins to take them, to construct his own giant base
Lowkey thought that buoy Base was Beach Bowl considering they both have that bowl shape and come from the same dome

I don’t know what I’m watching, but it sure as hell is entertaining
Extremely awesome but I have 3 additions to this
1. Buoy Base appears in Space Storm Galaxy, meaning Penguru probably was looking for power stars there or even worse, manipulating the top men tribe to do his bidding unseen
2. The abandoned starshroom at the start of Bonefin was undoubtedly from the Toad Brigade, possibly sending a rescue party to Captain Toad that Penguru dealt with
3. Penguru is seen in hightail falls at the top of a ramp. It’s strange how someone so old got up there, so perhaps he was testing the gold shell’s power?

Fun fact: In Mario galaxy 2 . In Hightail Falls. During the hunt for the green stars, one can be found right by........PENGURU

seeing you talk about the strangeness of deep dark, ive always REALLY wanted to get a video about that one planet in deep dark - thats literally a COPY of the first ever planet on the game in gateway galaxy, except it gets even weirder as the planet shrinks as you pull the screw- and eventually disappears, like it's almost a glitch or mistake.
