Excellent teaching! Thanks a lot. In your second example, HOV is also accepted as sig value is greater than alpha, but different from your first example, the sig value in this ANOVA table is less than alpha, so H0 is to be rejected. I haven't got the influence /importance of HOV on ANOVA table clearly. Can you please explain a little bit more about the influence of HOV on the test reliability? Do you mean HOV must always be accepted in order to proceed ANOVA?
