    And this is why I switched to mostly an Asian diet, just so much good food.
    Plenty of the dishes are fast to prepare and cook, taste great, a lot of it's healthy
    and much all of the ingredients are readily available even here in Australia.

      So much good food?? Have you taken notice of the amounts of OIL they fry everything? Yes, it must taste delicious, but fried food is the absolutely worst for the human diet. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    • @kenc2257
      @kenc2257 3 года назад +17

      @@Gardis72 Most nutritionists say that sugary drinks (Coke, Pepsi, and the like) are the worse "food" in the typical Western diet. Followed by most pizzas, white bread, most fruit juices (the sugary ones), sugary breakfast cereals, and THEN fried foods. It's recommended to eat fried (also broiled and grilled) food in moderation. Note: wok-fried food "probably" has less absorbed oil--less calorie-dense, and fewer unhealthy chemical compounds--than deep fried foods.

      @@kenc2257 with the amount of oil used in the wok the food may as well be deep fried. Sugary drinks are not exclusively western, I assure you they are consumed excessively in Asia as well. There isn't a single thing in this video which isn't fried in oil, so I'm not sure where your "moderation" point comes in. You'd be hard pressed to find any decent nutritionist who looks at a wok-fried diet and says "yup, this is good for your health". The healthiest diet in the world is the Mediterranean diet, specifically because very few things are fried, alongside clean meats, plenty of fruit and vegetables. No one disputes that this food probably tastes great, but just looking at it makes me feel heavy and sluggish - not the cornerstone of a healthy diet.

    Las recetas son muy sencillas, aunque no me voy a poner a hacer fideos en casa de esa forma.
    La pregunta es... lo negro que lleva la salsa del plato de los fideos: ¿es pasta de sésamo negro? Y por qué los fideos salen más oscuros a pesar de usar "harina" blanca? No se ve que estén mezclada con otra cosa, y el resultado es similar a unos fideos de batata.
    El rebozado del filete de lomo de cerdo, ¿De qué es? Parece leche de coco muy espesa.
    La oreja de mar no se come (por lo menos no de forma habitual en mi país), pero igual se puede sustituir por zamburiñas o algo parecido. Pero, por qué el caldo queda tan espeso?
