Could you theoretically use this for triangulation by attaching the antennae to the roof of a moving vehicle and triangulating in real time? Is there software that exists to do so when linked to a GPS?
Yes, there is a smart phone App that takes these DOA inputs and plots them in real time on a map, using the smart phone GPS to determine your sample location and motion. It will plot multiple DOA cuts and plot a location on the map for the target. And it will give you turn by turn recommendations to improve the geolocation and get to the target. If you look at other Kraken videos on YT you will see the system deriving a potential target area, sometimes in a few 10's of seconds. I did this video not focusing on the App, but just the DOA capability, because there are already multiple videos of the geolocation in operation and few showing this DOA capability.
Not theoretical at all. Once you assemble a Raspberry Pi, some code that is ready to install on boot on the Pi and I choose to use an Android device. (I am using a Pumpkin Android double din in dashboard 11.5 inch touch screen head unit that accesses the raspberry Wi-Fi to a specific IP address on that network. Using the coherent time shift and the accurate shared clock, and poof. RDF in your vehicle
