The character development in this show was so intimate, you really felt like all these Smallville people were your friends at some point. Then there is that feeling of rooting for friendships and relationships knowing that fate will inevitably tear them apart because Clark and Lana were not meant to be together, and Clark and Lex were meant to be sworn enemies. Might be time for another rewatch!

I had closed my eyes and imagined myself in Clark’s place in this scene and holy moly, I had tears rolling down my face. I forgot what love actually felt like and when Lana said “Is everything okay Clark?” More tears started coming out of my eyes. It was so powerful and the background song was enough to move my heart and soul 🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭

Sheesh, what show could make me cry on the first episode? Only this show. This show will forever have a special place in my heart, without a doubt.
