Thank you. There's not enough serious learning materials out there for this instrument. Honestly, in English, I've only managed to find one method book for melodica and it's very basic. I'm glad to see tutorials like this and I hope you make more. Any breathing or articulation/tonguing videos would be greatly appreciated!
THANK YOU! WOW! I am a harmonica player who uses melodica to give visual clues for my students. I use melodica rarely on gigs. This is the most exciting thing I have ever learned on melodica!
Thank you! I just ordered my first melodica, but I've been playing other things (flute, mandolin, fiddle, more), for most of my long life. I'd heard some players bend notes, but had no clue how it's done.
Thanks for posting this! I could only bend notes occasionally before, but now after understanding that you need to increase the amount of air.. wow, so much easier and more consistent. Also the two finger tip was really helpful!
Thank you for this! I am a newbie harmonica player and now I understand better the mechanism of the bending. Will try again to bend soon on my Special 20.
I told my friend you can't bend notes on aa melodica and then he sent me your video. It sounds like the theme from "Once Upon a Time in the West." I also told my friend you can't control the volume. So, I expect to wrong about that to.
