    OMG! Why does everyone who is not from Philly insist we put green peppers & onions to our cheesesteaks. WE DO NOT!!! Drives me nuts!

      @@simplymadeeats No. calzones are deep fired. The baking is by woke health types. There is no comparison. Deep fried is amazing. Baked is boring. Try it.

      @@maggiecrysler "woke health types"?? it's a calzone, not some weird political statement. You can bake or you can fry, and I'm guessing the preference depends on what part of the country you're from more than anything else - here in NC, I've never seen a fried calzone, but in Va where I grew up, I worked at a restaurant owned by a couple from Buffalo, and they fried their calzones.
