I couldn't believe the difference in just plowing the field. I think this was an excellent video. I appreciate your long hours of doing all this testing. Keep up the good work.
Sorry the video is so long, I started with 4 hours of recording and through excessive use of fast forwarding was able to get it down to about an hour. :-)
AH when your sitting in a wheel chair time dont matter great video, wonder which is more cost efficient Grass for silage or planting and cutting Corn for silage.
I have tested this on 1-stage fertilization and you do NOT get the "free" 1st fertilization with that setting, so you DO still need to apply it once with 1-stage setting.
is it possible to do a test on which is the cheapest form of fertilizers i.e. if you were to sell manure what is the price difference between all the fertilizers. I understand if you don't want to do this. It is only a suggestion. Thanks for doing a fantastic job on your videos
you can in fact use a weeder twice on grass, if you use it immediately after harvesting when it still shows as purple on the map, and again in the yellow first harvest state, you can get it to 3 levels of fertilization for free ( with the initial free 1st level )
love the video... I haven't bothered to fertilize grass.... I don't sell any of my grass.... I have over 500 cows & 600 sheep... I have fields 25, 27, & 28 planted in grass... so all my grass production goes toward feeding my animals (grass & hay).... I use corn chaff for silage (power food ) ... my whole farm production is geared toward animal farming

Jump cuts can be magical. Once we've seen the method once, we can just be shown the results, so that would have cut down on the video time a lot.

Great video, a lot effort put in. I always fertilize grass, because i can really see the diffrence when doing silage.
+Adis Hasancevic thanks!
Very detailed analysis. I appreciate the info. Great job.
Be nice to know the difference between using a field for grass vs corn chaff.
Thank you for that break down. I've never seen a more complete description on anything in this game!
Great video it was very helpful, I was told I couldn't fertilize grass but i figured there would be a way to increase the amount you get.
Very interesting video and i learnt things i never new so thank you for taking the time to put this together i enjoyed that.

+Mike 1852 well the cheapest is to just use the weeder. But I could test the other options to see how they rank.
Kentucky Farmer its up to u. Could be quite interesting
Kentucky Farmer Manure and slurry are "free" too.

Maybe I'm foolish, but I can't find the part 2. I was hoping to find the link in the description
Thanks; very helpful.
Great vids..I find them very Informative..
+Bob Shrubb thanks!
A more proper term for 'free grass' is 'volunteer grass'.
Link to that PLOUGH? Or just the name of it. I'd appreciate that. :) Thanks in advanced.
What mod are you dumping the cut grass into?
It's the "fermenter 5000" www.modhoster.com/mods/fermenter-5000-fermenting-silo
your increase in yield from 0% fertilize to 100% would be closer to 79% right? because you almost doubled your control test
Will this work if you only have it set to one stage of fertilization
+USAairsofter if you are only using one stage, then you don't need to fertilize, but you should still wait until the 2nd ready to harvest stage.
Kentucky Farmer oh ok thanks for the help
nice!
