But no chance to go for the car in those days on the big money finale. So when did they introduce the car? That came later on during Les's run as host.
Popular detectives could also be Ponch and Jon, The Sweeney, Bodie and Doyle, Colombo, TJ Hooker. If I remember this was the only series with the colour board. Was changed back to the original style after this
@@RetroMuseumTV probably wasn't that popular. To me that original board was the best. My favourite host was Bob Monkhouse. My now late grandmother and I used to watch him together when I was a child. But my nan wasn't too keen on Max Bygraves. If anything I preferred Max to Gino and Vernon
That gag Les did when he said "Just like to read it" just brilliant! Nick Weir also did that joke once on Catch Phrase!
Les Dennis was brilliant as the host of FF. Has to be one of my all-time favourite gameshow hosts.

Other Detectives can be Crocket and Tubbs, Poirot, Hardcase and McCormack, Steve McGarrett, Charlie's Angels, Jessica Fletcher and Midnight Caller
Imagine if "TOP OF THE POPS" was something that made you lose your temper.
