Reading some comments and ppl have ridiculous expectations of base designs. This is not unraidable it’s a cheap solo bunker base. If you don’t like the stair bunker leave it out, mixing tables can be placed and pickup if there is no permanent spot, use your vast experience and find a place to place a windmill. It’s a 15 -30 rocket raid depending on material and route. If you don’t like it build a larger base and spend your days farming.

what do you think is the best approach to raid this base?
@@marcgatcke27exact base….4 rockets through back wall and splash 8-15 rockets through bunker. Nothing wrong with base, small and compact. Spend extra resources on 3 triangle externals and place restart loot and major inventory in the externals. In most cases they don’t get raided and you can seal quickly and start again.
@@marcgatcke27 The 2nd floor has no honeycomb. you can easily raid into one of the side walls and just destroy the garage/double doors and get most of the loot. Or eco raid through the shooting floor triangle above the entrance since its soft side and now you're in the base only needing to go through the dropdown if its open or raid the ladder hatch if there is one. The main flaw of the base is that the shooting floor doesn't accomplish much and most of your stuff will be exposed on the 2nd floor rather than being safe in core. Even if you dont lose TC you still lose basically all of your stuff in a raid.
I finished this build yesterday but with double doors since I dont have garage yet. Logged in today and had a failed raid. The blew in on both bottom ans middle floor, they took out all 7-8 double doors and the stairs but when they saw the hq bunker they gave up. So I could repair/rebuild and I added 1 extra honey comb layer and wood walls around base. Thanks. Looks lile this base could be a winner.

I just have to say how much I appreciate how clear you are in communicating exactly how to build this and how it works. People being able to easily follow what you're doing is a bigger deal than i think some realize, given how many build tutorials I see that go way too fast and don't provide much explanation.
I'm going to build this because I can afford it without rust being my full time job
great shit the raid cost to tc is pretty similar to large bases the only issue is the shooting floor which can be improvised great base thank you

Hey i built the base, i really like it, but i built it in the first 2 hrs of wipe on vanilla bcs i got a good location with a lot of nodes. Can u make an upgrade video with that design with extra TCs outside and maybe a roof and more stuff ? I building now some more extra room to make it harder for raiders

I couldn't get all the triangle roof pieces to fit - last one kept exploding when I placed it.
soooo i built this, and i am pretty knew to rust building but i finished it and it was full sheet metal, and than i went to sleep in the bunker and i closed of the bunker as you showed at min 3:56, after waking up this morning i am happy to see there was not even an attempt that someone raided my base, BUT i spawned in, removed the twig with a weapon since i couldnt remove it with the hammer no more AND the sheetmetal triangle "wall" didnt come off xDDDD

Took a couple of attempts getting the terrain placement right but I'm loving this base design.
Great design, I've used the Solo Dream V2 for 2 wipes now but am definitely considering this....

If someone stuck on the roof just hold shift spam space and make sure u looking opposite direction when jumping

how do you get out of the open triangle shooting floor? keep hitting head and floating but cant crouch jump or auto crouch out.

I'm gonna be honest - this base is way too small for two people, trying to jump over each other with all of the deployables is annoying and impossible at times. Great solo base, but still has several problems, no place to put repair bench, research table, batteries, etc, it has a lot of flaws man. It's a good starter solo for sure, but that's about it for me. The jump ups with the sirens are annoying as F too.
Yea it's cramped. Solo only for sure. Interesting ideas but it needs improvement.
Thank you so much, I'm very new to the game and this helped me loads, specially in my server where everyone offlines. The only change I did is I built the front side towards a mountain, so the TC is extra protected from that side. Thanks again!

Gonna give this one a go. Looks cozy. edit: I found it cramped. Couldn't fit a mixing table.
I have been playing small bases for the last 2 wipes. Place the mixing table and pick it up when complete, really cheap to repair.

I started building this and got to the roof part for some odd or bazar reason the triangle roof doesn't want to be placed in the middle of the entry way has anyone else had this issue?? other than that I've seen this used in official and modded servers and overall looks awesome!

why not use garage door for the core door instead of a sheet door?
So if they blow the door the staircase bunker doesnt allow you to pass through

I don't play enough to figure out and remember the building-out-and-back methods. And it's so compact that it can go in places no one really wants.

Only thing it’s missing is a helipad
12 rockets to TC and main loot and an additional 4 to the upstairs loot isn't great for 21k stone and 3k metal. The HQM cost is appreciated though.
This is a basic build and you need to upgrade to strengthen. HQM the bunker and metal the honeycomb takes it to 23 rocket raid straight to TC. That said it’s still cheap to build and well designed, remember it’s a solo base not a group base. People need to use externals and the base becomes not griefable. Split the loots and it’s easy to rebuild.

Is seemed to have a problem with the siren jump up in core because either I can’t jump up onto the light or when I can I can’t jump through the door who can help
such a good base, defended an online from it, but got offline that night, because of the bunker it wasn't profit though!!!
Ok, hopefully my last comment cause I don't wanna spam too much. For some reason I can't move bag to the corner you move it to in the last part of the video. I can place other things, but not a bag. It just says, "Not enough space".
don't you think about they gonna penetrate the celling thru those edge peak on the top floor ? because deal damamge from inside of the platform is really easy to break thru walls
The spiral stair on top of the stability bunker is useless. They can blow through the roof for cheaper, or they can splash damage both the stair and floor
That’s the first thing I thought lol. 8 rockets and both are gone
No one will use rockets for such a small base, it will either be wiped by foundations or raided with c4s. (This is my opinion based on personal experience)
@@stelicRUSTof course they will use rockets, no one is stupid enough to go through all the doors . Base is worth only as much as the walls leading to loot

@@Fit4C I meant the bunker won't be raided with rockets. If you get raided with rockets, it's either into the wall or the foundations

If you add a wood shutter to the window in the airlock facing inwards, you can throw grednades onto it and open the shutter to kill doorcampers

there is a stability problem with the middle roof thats on the low walls on boths sides. how to get around this without having to place a half wall?

Just built it, like it a lot! Only change I made was instead of siren light jump ups I put triangle ladder hatches for an easier climb and a little more defense. It may block the stair bunker for core, haven't tried it yet

I had a stability issue with the roof on the backside of the base. had to place a half wall.

I think u need to place and upgrade them at the same time so it can be placed as whole metal or stone

I don’t understand how no one can get into the base from the outside but you can? How do you farm to get in and out. Do you put the furnace back? I’m confused how this actually functions as an entrance/bunker.
Also, how the heck do you get in from the outside? It’s too high to jump.
What do you mean, you put the triangle roof there if you cant jump high enough then you made the thing too high or something... And you keep the furnace there and when you are going offline or getting raided, you take out the furnace and put the bunker, which you can break the twig piece from the core to remove but they have to blow through the stone/metal
A question about the roof: how do you place it from inside? I can only place it outside while flying, but that's obviously impossible in a real server.
Edit: I placed triangle foundations at the top so i could walk around the top of the base to put on the roof triangles from the outside and just shot the twig out from beneath outside once I was finished. If there's a better way of doing it, I'd love to know.
Stand in the centre of the roof and strafe left and right. Roof will eventually be placeable.

You have to respawn outside the bunker after sealing it and respawn inside the bunker to open it
I am unable to put the stairway down on top of the bunker triangle, any clues on what im doing wrong?

When you cut to the roof, there's a triangle floor tile above and next to the first door that you don't show placing.
I added the floor tile art that point, and also a wall in front of the door to give it cover. Not sure if thar second part was intended, but it looked a little weird just jutting out.

qol sucks, peak to front door can be used against you, bad progression, no downwards, deployable jumpups can be broken during raid ruining mobility

@@travv88 yeah i play on pc and cons but buildet it on cons and there it connects with the higher fund not with the empty space😅 so i guess it works just on pc?😅🤣
@@roccosMlife ye. doesn't matter anyway. Once they break the door, if they shoot rockets down there the splash hits the triangle and the stairs at the same time.
overall i found the base too cramped. this is my first time having that wizard tower style roof, wasnt as much of a fan of that style of shooting floor as I expected I would be.
Built it in a 3x let's see how long it lasts or even lasts the night
