  • "Adyashanti strikes home for many as he discusses what happens when the motivating force of personal will starts to erode. "Realization of 'no self ' is one thing; having personal will wither away into nothing is another." It is only in the ebbing of this will that we come to know what the spiritual journey is about: the flowering of truth. 90 minute DVD recorded on September 6, 2006" www.adyashanti.org
www.adyashanti.... (Adya's free "Teachings" web page with samples in audio, video, and writings)
www.peterspearl... (At the bottom of page there are 4 more audio samples of satsangs and interviews with Adyashanti not found anywhere else on the web)
Adyashanti's nondual teachings have been compared to those of the early Zen masters and Advaita Vedanta sages. Expressing both the infinite possibilities and the ordinary simplicity of a spiritually realized life, Adyashanti's teachings are directed to those who are sincerely called to awaken to their true nature and embody this life-changing realization.

It's as if you'd looked into my "soul", Adya. You are talking about my life.
    Thank you and bless you.

you are right, we dont have to be egoless, you your every imperfection is a step towards perfection, so the play of ego is for "this" to realize "this".
dont suppress ego, look at it closely, and realize you are not it. see who you are...seek the source.

Thank you, so much, Adyashanti, for walking beside me as I experience new things. Passion gone. Miracles happening. No grand plan in mind. May you always walk in the light.

yes, go into this blankness....its not blank...
listen to mooji...he makes it crystal clear...and its beautiful ! everytime i listen to him, something inside me stirs up....i dont know exactly what,....but its like a blank presence ! its like as if something is standing there very quietly....in shadows...but its there...

i am so happy/relieved to see this video. I have been thinking of enlightenment/waking up for a while now and have had some glimpses. now i don't care about any of the things i used to care about. All my passions, my beliefs, and even my personal pain from a falling out with my best friend.. it all doesn't matter anymore.. i thought something was wrong with me! so now apparently it's natural. but now what do i do? how do you live life when you don't care about anything except waking up??!

You can never, ever know if something someone else said is true. You can only see for yourself. Maybe then you'll say, "oh, he was right," or "that was way off." The bottom line is: go see for yourself. I find it helpful to allow for the possibility that my own thoughts may just be beliefs that I learned from someone else at some point in my life, and treat them as suspect as any guru de jour. You want truth, You gotta find it yourself. No one else's truth will suffice. See for yourself.

Whatever you do, whatever you achieve, you always come back to "alone"

ACIM states as much also. The real beginning is after enlightenment because only then are you able to understand the game. :)

You don't "know". There is no right or wrong. Follow and fall into your own heart.

I suppose you are not talking about stuff like "i play the piano" (which i do).
Aside from stuff like that, i just come up with a blank to that question. Maybe just that there is consciousness.
