as i was very young i saw this series and i was amazed by isabella's strength of character and courage that blossomed, its wonderful to see she inspired someone to live their dream like her
I remember this scene the 2nd most out of the anime. And then in the same ep Georgy dyes the roses blue and put them on Caroline's dress. The revelation scene at the catwalk is the best scene ever
I remember a friend of mine recommending me this anime simply cause of the trans character when I was still a boy but I had told my friends I’m trans. 8 years later and I’m revisiting this cause I still haven’t forgotten about Isabella, except now I’m a girl too lol
Because it doesn't have action, lurid heterosexual tropes, useless female characters, op male characters, 300 episodes of someone fighting the bad guy along with monologing about himself and getting high on nakama strength. Also because it's set in real life. Let it be underrated. Such anime are better preserved for people like you and me who know the value of understated beauty.
@@bloodcottoncandy To be fair Paradise Kiss is a josei, it has a little of a mora realistic and mature narrative so younger audiences don't usually stick to it. But, yes, it's a classic.
He never played with her heart, that was a mature realistic relationship, not every relationship will work out that's life and ai yazawa did a great job showing it. They both taught each other great lessons
Izabella is my favorite anime character. I love her. Thanks to her I was confident enough to come out as trans as well.
