Today we check an electric fence to make sure that it is up and working so that it will keep the cows out of sight of the road.

If I had several acres for cattle, I would keep the sage grass cut so pasture grasses could grow and eliminate a huge fire hazard.

You are right, I keep a portion of it clipped really low where we feed the cows during the winter. I put a firelane around the remainder and burn it off in February. Thank you for watching.
