I would say if they have to keep reaffirming that they are, chances are they are not a P-lead like an INFJ. Perhaps a J-lead instead, since INFJs rely on a probabilistic model, while J-leads (EJs and IPs) rely on a deterministic model.

I love them and that's why I can't stand the stupid and evil things done. I saved a man's life once because I barely knew him as the drummer in my friend's band and I knew that he was a junkie. I was out walking and happened to see him heading into an obviously abandoned building and my thought, much more apparent to me than such thoughts usually are was, "I think I'll go yell at that man." but in a good way. Only, by the time I walked back to where he had gone in and navigated things until I found where people had gathered, he was layed out and not breathing and a bunch of junkies were sitting mostly on the other side of a fire from him. So, I yelled at them instead unti they gave me back his coat and also all of theirs (cold, Alaska, wintertime) and I worked really hard at getting his blood moving and him breathing again. Because I believe in God, I believe I heard my inner dalogue more outwardly so that I would find him and save his life. I know no further information on why that was important in the larger scheme of life, though. I just know I loved him, without knowing him really, and that really made me want to yell at him.

@@ThePhoenixElite Yeah, I'm INFJ too but I'm still questioning whether it's accurate or not years after. I think it's actually very easy to explain with the cognitive functions. As people with Ti we want to solve the mysteries of the universe and particularly about personnalities in our case. But the problem with MBTI is that most things in psychology can hardly be proven for now cause it's incredibly personal. And since it's particularly hard for us to know ourselves, we're never totally sure something corresponds to us so we're searching for who we are in a loop because of it and constantly unsure. But I think this unassertiveness is paradoxically what makes an INFJ behavior very identifiable even if in actuality INxJs are so rare that "luckily", we appear very different from many. But the fact that the Ni cognitive function is so unclear for most makes it even harder to be sure of who we are cause nobody can really tell with much certainty what personality traits fit us without a doubt. So we're kind of helpless in that regard 😅. That's why I said that being rare can be a great help in this case. But of course I think the fact that INxJs are rare is the same reason why the Ni cognitive function is so obscure.
I got INFP once but I already knew the test and was in a different state so I guess it gave a wrong result. My first result was INFJ and I've done the test numerous times anyway and on numerous sites so I guess I have to come to the conclusion that it's accurate (but of course I'll never be 100% sure and nobody can).

    • @kyurei4478
      @kyurei4478 11 месяцев назад +4

@@GreenWizardPTR Yes, that's basically what I said. But what I was explaining is it's not an identification method based on personality traits but solely on the fact that INxJs are very rare. So it doesn't give you a sense of identity. I wouldn't really say superior just because we identity things most don't, it's just a matter of being common or not to me. If INxJs were common it would have nothing "special". But for sure we feel depressed about being misunderstood. Many people might think it's so "cool" to be rare because you feel special. I couldn't care less. I think it's more important for INFJs to feel normal and relate to others because then they don't feel lonely. Feeling special is actually rather depressing.
But what I meant is even then, despite the fact I came to the conclusion long ago, there is still this questioning inside that will never totally disappear because there is no 100% sure answer with MBTI.

An INFJ has the potential to create their heaven or hell on Earth. Being basically the type that can become the most balanced. Most INFJs never attempt to tap into their full potential due to unresolved trauma from the nature/nurture aspects of their environment. Using that potential to work with the underlying aspects of reality makes them the perfect manifestors. It was said in the movie, "Life is tough, that's the default setting." • @kyurei4478
      @kyurei4478 11 месяцев назад +11

Me neither. Actually I think I solved why people think we're sensitive to criticizms. It's just because we already put a lot of pressure on ourselves so when someone criticizes us about something, we already kinda guessed it through intuition most of the time but it can just be assumptions.
So it's like a double criticizm every time from us and from others. It's one of the mechanisms of dominant Introverted Intuition I guess, being worried about everything that could happen.
Also I think hearing the same criticizm we made about ourselves in our head from someone else is terrible because it pretty much confirms our negative assumptions and makes it true.
Another point is I think we're just very skilled when it comes to hiding things about ourselves so even if we're not actually particularly sensitive to criticizms, if we can avoid receiving it and want to, we'll do it cause criticizms in general aren't necessarely very enjoyable (especially when it's just personal judgement). But sometimes we would even ask for it to improve cause you can't improve if you don't know your weak points right?
I noticed this trait of personality doesn't fit us when I realized if it's a criticizm I never thought about before, I'll be surprisingly chill about it, even curious.
But sometimes I think there is also times when we know some criticizms made about us are objectively wrong or simply don't fit our mindset or people misinterpreted the intentions behind our actions.
And in all honesty, I think it's one of these cases. People just don't get us on that, it's a misinterpretation that makes it look like we're particularly sensitive to criticizms but it's just A LOT of accumulated pressure.
No matter who you are, if you're very stressed you'll appear more sensitive than usual because you're mentally tired. That's what constantly happens to us. That's why being around more carefree people or people who don't put pressure on themselves can be very enjoyable for us (even if it can be worrying as well because of our profound nature), such as ESTPs, ENFPs and so on.

As an Infj I have to tell you , that everything you have said is very unprecise but I get your points.
For example to say we don't like drama is true but I think we will easily spot drama and create drama because we are very sensitive.
It's true we are interested in people and wish them the best , I guess it's love but it's very draining to interact with them , also we don't need to like someone to help them.
Also it's true many of us are sensitive to criticism due to our perfectionism , but not necessarily and I guess only in things that r important to us , we also think and reflect a lot so it's not easy to change our mind with an argument we have already thought about 100x.
And yes we r insane and we r suffering!😂
Our interests are not random, true.
Mostly our interests are related to psychology.
Yes we r slow learners (we take our time by choice to make sure we understood it on a deep lvl) and yes we like chill things and need time to reflect alone!
We are very emphatic so much that it hurts, that's why we need time alone, to form new connections is not really that easy not because we r not emphatic but because people r mentally draining to us, so we prefer to be alone most of the time or in my case with other people who r highly emotionaly intelligent with time to recharge.

Good video. Here are some more: you are not an infj if you secretly like it to be a rare personality type. And to be special. Its because of infjs Fe and the need to be understood, that they would like it more to be more like other people. Infp for example on the other hand like it a lot to be special.
You are also not an infj if you dont have performance anxiety to some degree. Thats because of Se. It makes infj a bit or a lot anxious about their performance. This can be at school or at work and even the performance as a friend or as a partner. Did I do enough to be a good friend? The part with critisissm is connected to this.

Because now you just sound like an immature bully, and that's something insecure people do (mostly kids) because they are afraid that others will see their true self and not like them for who they really are. If you are more intelligent, you should know that sharing your wisdom will help others, so help us understand why we are wrong.

As a person that defines as an infj I am going to say what i related to:
Drama: i hate drama, but i certainly won't cause more of it by acting like i feel your emotions. It's your drama not mine. I will try to help and i will be engaged (not the next time tho), but for sure won't cry and make myself the main character of others people stories.
People: I love people, but also really hate big groups. How can I talk and get to know everybody, when i am not able to have a 1 on 1 conversation with everybody? I mean, I really love getting to know people. I don't like people i talk to trying to be my friends after listening to them for 4 hours, but in general I love people, lol.
Criticism: I love getting feedback. I get extremely self-conscious, but at the same time I don't know if something is good, if i don't hear the opinions of other people
decisions: maybe i do like to have a bit of time to think, but at the same time it's dumb to assume there are situations that there is one good way out of.
Patterns: that's true af. I don't have anything to say. Everything has it;s place
fast learning: i feel kind of humiliating about it lol, but sadly it;s true.
detached: i don't relate. I am detached af. I am always in social groups that are extremely close to eo, but after the stuff happening together, i have to detach not to feel suffocated.
feelings: i do understand the pattern of how my feelings appeared, but not what i am feeling, but it's not a problem.
rebel: well i am a rebel. I keep on fighting for people i care for so i don't relate.i see both sides, but also if it hurts someone close to me and i know it wasn't their fault i will argue.
GUYS PLEASE TELL ME LOL. AM I AN INFJ???? I really might not be. I don't feel like an infj. My cognitive functions are always like: Ni, Ne, Ti, Fe, Fi, Te, Se, Si

This one lady who was listening in objected, But, of course, no one really wants to be overrated." because in the song he says "i really wanna be overrated" and I was like "I do!" Not to be contrary, as she assumed, but because when people think I am doing a job well, looking good, keeping a clean house, organizing their pantry effectively, it amps me up to want to do as well and better if I can. This is very accurate. I think that the MBTI tests do tend to give out the INFJ results a bit too easily, however the reason why you see so many people online claiming to be INFJ, is probably do to the fact that they’re actively trying to find others like them, without going out & dealing with people. So yes, there would be a high representation of our type online, most others are out touching grass.
I’m an INFJ who is AUDHD, & one of the biggest “symptoms” of ADHD is LOVING drama, I have to say I never resonated with that one. I avoid drama at all costs, it makes me deeply uncomfortable. UNLESS, I am watching the drama from afar & am listening completely undetected. I enjoy watching people work through things & their different styles of handling high emotional situations, but that does not mean I want to be a part of it.

I related to 4 topics, 1 (you love drama), 2 (you don't like people), 4 (you love sink and swim), and 6 (fast learner).
1 - I love academic or social arguing like “What was *names*’s mistake in solving for x?” or “Should we ban the sale of tobacco products?” But as soon as relationship drama is involved, I try to defuse it as my life depends on it.
2- Most people suck. They’re unintelligent, unimaginative, and only seek the easiest way. But all these factors are good for me because that means it’s easy to climb to the top. No ambition, no competition, goal acheive easily. But I also like to give people motivation to succeed either through giving them advice or inspiration.
4 - I like to sink and swim in the sense that if I don't swim, I don’t sink. For example, when I played laser tag, I knew I could lose the game safely. But the first time I rode a bike, I knew If I fell, I could get injured. So I used a tricycle and slowly went to a bike, to mountain biking.
6 - I’m a fast learner, but I like to have plenty of evidence, reasoning, and clarification when learning something.

I started asking people to take this test, read about their personality types, and found out that my two closest friends are both Enfjs. I found out that my own sister is also an infj, which shocked me, but is still so obvious when I think about it. We have a love-hate relationship because we understand eachother so much that it hurts. When I realized that none of the people I spoke to about this test were really interested in reading about themselves, I wondered why only infjs have such an interest in MBTI? From this I came to the conclusion that only an infj could have created this test. I googled it, and yes, Katharine Briggs was an infj, her daughter was an infp, they created this test together.

So, a thing on why I am not an INFJ and disagreeing with it all is perfect.
The fact that I have watched endless videos on this subject and still have questions should probably give it away, but not believing the same positive answer multiple times is what makes us INFJ's. No proof is real proof without a false negative 🤣

    1.I so-o hate drama.
(saw lots of drama from many alleged INFJ and that sent me on this hunt for what I really am and now I am back to probaby INFJ)
    2. I do figure out way too much time to find out if people like me.
    3. I hate criticism. I like constructive criticism.
(Ie: "You are stupid" vs. "I think you miscalculated there because you didn't learn new math." )
    4. I like to think slow and be 3%-25% in the moment uness its dancing, prayer or sex.
    5. I have many interests but they are all related to artwork or cooking/health.
    6. I watch a lot of tutorials and read DIY/self help books.
    7. I do love to savor things. in all sorts of ways.
    8. I do care a lot about other people. But, I don't want to have dialogue about it more than necessary.
    9. I can be a people pleaser, up to a point.
    10. Don't ask me how I''m feeling. How I'm doing. What I want out of our relationshp. Ask me somethign more real.
    11. I have recently been annoyed at the Empire for calling tthe Death Star that, and specifically because it looks more like a moon.
Guess I really am an INFJ.

6:00 i relate to all the past ones, but said yes to having random interests and became doubtful until you explained and i had an ":O" moment, because yeah, my interests include psychology, neurology, criminology (love detective & psychological shows with mystery) (& ANOTHER interest that i forgot about because i stopped typing this comment for a minute) which are all connected to the human brain and how it all works, so well...yes to being an infj still.

I'm definitely an INFJ, I definitely can feel 95% of what my mom does and can guess what she's thinking and will be right. I've also looked at the personality hunt INFJ 4w3 article, and it's a perfect match.
Also, which enneagram you are adds and subtracts personality traits. I'm heavily Ni but am more Fe than your typical INFJ because of being a 4w3.

I got an ISFP-T because I misunderstood a lot, hated the result, found out about INFJs (I am -T) and now I finally get the appreciation for MBTI. Though, I still chameleon my behavior into all other 15 types.

I’m an INFP but I deeply feel others emotions. I got divorced 3 years ago and got back on the dating market. Most every woman that lists Meyers/Briggs put they are an INFJ. You talk to them for a bit and quickly realize they’re not an INFJ. Hell some of them weren’t even introverts.

Having an anvil next to a trumpet, to a violin & erhu, to a sword collection, to an armor set, to a soldier uniform set, to a collection of medieval and steampunk sketches, to a fantasy collection book, to a philosophy & history book collection, to a vintage clothing set, to a self-made pottery set with unique new language written on it, to a typewriter, to a collection of mead, wine, and beer bottles of different varieties.... they're all connected to a theme I guess XD But wdy guys think? Also I'm an startup author for fantasy and I scream silently whilst looking at the mirror everytime I find a EUREKA plot narrative that is so emotionally intense for my characters.
I kinda need the external validation so I know I'm not an imposter or got my INFJ conclusion wrong. pls validate if I'm crazy coo coo or I got it right and can go nuts on more INFJ deep dives. thanks.

I am an INFJ, and I have experienced this sentiment, and most of the confirmed INFJ's I know have also shared this sentiment: "How you know someone is not an INFJ, they want to be an INFJ. How do you know someone is an INFJ, they wish they weren't one." Admittedly as I have matured and become more comfortable in myself I don't feel this as much anymore, but there are still many days were I think "man, it would be so much easier to be any of the S types!"

I wouldn't lie and say im color blind. Something so dumb and insignificant, but still wouldn't lie. Just say i like several and name off like 3-4 colors that i love. Lying makes problems down the road and i dont want to create more drama, especially over something so little.

If you are still unsure about it, in my opinion, the best way to tell which personality type you are is by learning about all of them to check which one you relate to the most, because it's very easy to only remember the feeling of "oh, yeah! that's exactly how i feel!" whenever you watch a single video, as well as it is easy to forget that actually there were many other things in that same video that you didn't relate to.

You have to take a long form test given by a professional. Every one of my aspd women (cluster B friends, which unfortuneately empaths attract) the minute you tell them you are an infj, they will read about the infj personality & find out its really special unique & suddenly they claim to have been tested too as infj.
Almost everyone of my unempathetic, more sociopathic friends became Infj almost within a week of me telling them my test results.

Nope, I'm the real deal INFJ. Went through a two-week team building retreat where we were administered the MBTI by an actual person from MBTI. At first it seemed like I was INFP but there was a moment of insight and we knew I was INFJ. I was the only INFJ in the history of the company out of many hundreds of people. I knew I was special way before taking the MBTI at the age of 30. I knew my whole life that something about me was different and I'm definitely not everyone's flavor. Sometimes I am an enigma to myself and it's frustrating but also kind of great.

I live in the gray zone between INFJ and INTJ (49% Thinking). This was an official MBTI done by a licensed psychiatrist so I feel pretty good re: accuracy.
It is both a wonderful and terrible place to be.
I can think logically and plan brilliantly.
I can feel the emotions of others as my own.
I can plot the downfall of an inept or dishonest person ten steps ahead and they'll never know it was me. (INTJ)
But I'll feel terrible about it. (INFJ)

INFJ is basically Kim Dokja of Omniscient Reader Viewpoint. We felt like the world was made for us to read. We are part of this world yet apart from it, like a reader of book, watchers of films, we are not the protagonist, nor antagonist, not even the side kicks of any stories, they say people are like books, but we INFJ are the READER, COMMENTER, & REVIEWER of life, we chose & pick which story we want to read, sometimes we stick longer, sometime we left, that is why we always felt alone, even in the middle of crowds, full of life.

The only thing that I've been able to realize through this video is that I have no freaking clue if I am a INJTPQLBS or whatever but god dammit the empathy thing is super relatable, like to the point when I get called to help people with their emotions I have to rest because my body hurts due to helping someone with emotional output, and if I see someone get punched in the middle of drama, I have that ridiculous and scary sensation on the back of my spine that something bad is gonna happen and I'm gonna puke later as if I got punched in the gut myself...
I honestly don't think I'm that type of personality, but I'm constantly telling my mother to STOP calling me to read medical results or help people at the hospital because I can SEE the pain and SMEEL the fear, it's strange, it's gotten to the point I need medication to keep myself functional, I didn't became a doctor because I don't have the nerves for it, I'm scared of feeling other people's pain, and not sympathy like, like ACTUALLY sharing the pain...
It really sucks... I just want to be left alone sometimes, but as an artist I have to put on a brave face because if I'm good at reading emotions I might as well use it to make my clients happy with their visions and extract info on their emotions to make the perfect work for them... that's the only use I can see myself having.

I've taken the Minnesota Personality Inventory 3 times; in college at age 20, in nursing school age 31, and age 48 as a basket case following an abusive relationship. Every time I was an INFJ. But I refused to believe it 100% until I heard " INFJs don't like jobs with strict objective standards" and I thought "oh hell, that's it" Thanks?

2:20. in 16Personalities I always got INTP; but hearing this point made me remember of how sensitive i am. the most memorable memory was when my mom's ex confide something to me how hard life is then started crying. i know life is hard, but one thing that made me cry is because she was crying
damn, im ashamed to my bf (now ex) if remember that thing
ps: after seeing the vid, it made me feel that i am actually INFJ, but heck, being INFJ was the least thing I want since they are mysterious and hard-to-be-understood stereotypes; and i hate Fe dom/aux since i've met many unhealthy one. I'd rather be an xSTP

I took one meyers briggs test and it said I was an ENFJ. I took another and it said I was an INFJ. I took another and got INFJ again. I asked myself if by the 3rd try I was catching on to how to manipulate my answers to get a matching result, but the more I learn about INFJ traits the more I think they apply to me very well. I'm not incapable of socializing and I either don't talk, or I talk way too much, but I don't think that disqualifies me. I read Carl Jungs Personality Typology ( I think that's the tiltle:/) before i discovered silly youtube videos on the subject. Its a pretty quick read and entertaining. And so are RUclips videos. It's a fun and fascinating subject for me, but I kinda feel an astrology projection vibe around it. People cherry pick what they want to think about themselves.
