I love them and that's why I can't stand the stupid and evil things done. I saved a man's life once because I barely knew him as the drummer in my friend's band and I knew that he was a junkie. I was out walking and happened to see him heading into an obviously abandoned building and my thought, much more apparent to me than such thoughts usually are was, "I think I'll go yell at that man." but in a good way. Only, by the time I walked back to where he had gone in and navigated things until I found where people had gathered, he was layed out and not breathing and a bunch of junkies were sitting mostly on the other side of a fire from him. So, I yelled at them instead unti they gave me back his coat and also all of theirs (cold, Alaska, wintertime) and I worked really hard at getting his blood moving and him breathing again. Because I believe in God, I believe I heard my inner dalogue more outwardly so that I would find him and save his life. I know no further information on why that was important in the larger scheme of life, though. I just know I loved him, without knowing him really, and that really made me want to yell at him.

An INFJ has the potential to create their heaven or hell on Earth. Being basically the type that can become the most balanced. Most INFJs never attempt to tap into their full potential due to unresolved trauma from the nature/nurture aspects of their environment. Using that potential to work with the underlying aspects of reality makes them the perfect manifestors. It was said in the movie, "Life is tough, that's the default setting." If we're mot here leveling up, then what are we doing? ❤

    • @kyurei4478
      @kyurei4478 8 месяцев назад +9

Me neither. Actually I think I solved why people think we're sensitive to criticizms. It's just because we already put a lot of pressure on ourselves so when someone criticizes us about something, we already kinda guessed it through intuition most of the time but it can just be assumptions.
So it's like a double criticizm every time from us and from others. It's one of the mechanisms of dominant Introverted Intuition I guess, being worried about everything that could happen.
Also I think hearing the same criticizm we made about ourselves in our head from someone else is terrible because it pretty much confirms our negative assumptions and makes it true.
Another point is I think we're just very skilled when it comes to hiding things about ourselves so even if we're not actually particularly sensitive to criticizms, if we can avoid receiving it and want to, we'll do it cause criticizms in general aren't necessarely very enjoyable (especially when it's just personal judgement). But sometimes we would even ask for it to improve cause you can't improve if you don't know your weak points right?
I noticed this trait of personality doesn't fit us when I realized if it's a criticizm I never thought about before, I'll be surprisingly chill about it, even curious.
But sometimes I think there is also times when we know some criticizms made about us are objectively wrong or simply don't fit our mindset or people misinterpreted the intentions behind our actions.
And in all honesty, I think it's one of these cases. People just don't get us on that, it's a misinterpretation that makes it look like we're particularly sensitive to criticizms but it's just A LOT of accumulated pressure.
No matter who you are, if you're very stressed you'll appear more sensitive than usual because you're mentally tired. That's what constantly happens to us. That's why being around more carefree people or people who don't put pressure on themselves can be very enjoyable for us (even if it can be worrying as well because of our profound nature), such as ESTPs, ENFPs and so on.

As an Infj I have to tell you , that everything you have said is very unprecise but I get your points.
For example to say we don't like drama is true but I think we will easily spot drama and create drama because we are very sensitive.
It's true we are interested in people and wish them the best , I guess it's love but it's very draining to interact with them , also we don't need to like someone to help them.
Also it's true many of us are sensitive to criticism due to our perfectionism , but not necessarily and I guess only in things that r important to us , we also think and reflect a lot so it's not easy to change our mind with an argument we have already thought about 100x.
And yes we r insane and we r suffering!😂
Our interests are not random, true.
Mostly our interests are related to psychology.
Yes we r slow learners (we take our time by choice to make sure we understood it on a deep lvl) and yes we like chill things and need time to reflect alone!
We are very emphatic so much that it hurts, that's why we need time alone, to form new connections is not really that easy not because we r not emphatic but because people r mentally draining to us, so we prefer to be alone most of the time or in my case with other people who r highly emotionaly intelligent with time to recharge.

Good video. Here are some more: you are not an infj if you secretly like it to be a rare personality type. And to be special. Its because of infjs Fe and the need to be understood, that they would like it more to be more like other people. Infp for example on the other hand like it a lot to be special.
You are also not an infj if you dont have performance anxiety to some degree. Thats because of Se. It makes infj a bit or a lot anxious about their performance. This can be at school or at work and even the performance as a friend or as a partner. Did I do enough to be a good friend? The part with critisissm is connected to this.

@@ThePhoenixElite Yeah, I'm INFJ too but I'm still questioning whether it's accurate or not years after. I think it's actually very easy to explain with the cognitive functions. As people with Ti we want to solve the mysteries of the universe and particularly about personnalities in our case. But the problem with MBTI is that most things in psychology can hardly be proven for now cause it's incredibly personal. And since it's particularly hard for us to know ourselves, we're never totally sure something corresponds to us so we're searching for who we are in a loop because of it and constantly unsure. But I think this unassertiveness is paradoxically what makes an INFJ behavior very identifiable even if in actuality INxJs are so rare that "luckily", we appear very different from many. But the fact that the Ni cognitive function is so unclear for most makes it even harder to be sure of who we are cause nobody can really tell with much certainty what personality traits fit us without a doubt. So we're kind of helpless in that regard 😅. That's why I said that being rare can be a great help in this case. But of course I think the fact that INxJs are rare is the same reason why the Ni cognitive function is so obscure.
I got INFP once but I already knew the test and was in a different state so I guess it gave a wrong result. My first result was INFJ and I've done the test numerous times anyway and on numerous sites so I guess I have to come to the conclusion that it's accurate (but of course I'll never be 100% sure and nobody can).

@@kyurei4478 If you are an INFJ you just know it from most experiences in your life, always the weird/put aside kid in school. Always saying stuff that doesn't connect with 98% of people but totally makes sense objectively. Feeling superior but feeling sad about it.
I could go on and on.
Wenzes is a great channel for INFJs, maybe you know about it.

    • @kyurei4478
      @kyurei4478 8 месяцев назад +4

@@GreenWizardPTR Yes, that's basically what I said. But what I was explaining is it's not an identification method based on personality traits but solely on the fact that INxJs are very rare. So it doesn't give you a sense of identity. I wouldn't really say superior just because we identity things most don't, it's just a matter of being common or not to me. If INxJs were common it would have nothing "special". But for sure we feel depressed about being misunderstood. Many people might think it's so "cool" to be rare because you feel special. I couldn't care less. I think it's more important for INFJs to feel normal and relate to others because then they don't feel lonely. Feeling special is actually rather depressing.
But what I meant is even then, despite the fact I came to the conclusion long ago, there is still this questioning inside that will never totally disappear because there is no 100% sure answer with MBTI.

This is very accurate. I think that the MBTI tests do tend to give out the INFJ results a bit too easily, however the reason why you see so many people online claiming to be INFJ, is probably do to the fact that they’re actively trying to find others like them, without going out & dealing with people. So yes, there would be a high representation of our type online, most others are out touching grass.
I’m an INFJ who is AUDHD, & one of the biggest “symptoms” of ADHD is LOVING drama, I have to say I never resonated with that one. I avoid drama at all costs, it makes me deeply uncomfortable. The only thing that I've been able to realize through this video is that I have no freaking clue if I am a INJTPQLBS or whatever but god dammit the empathy thing is super relatable, like to the point when I get called to help people with their emotions I have to rest because my body hurts due to helping someone with emotional output, and if I see someone get punched in the middle of drama, I have that ridiculous and scary sensation on the back of my spine that something bad is gonna happen and I'm gonna puke later as if I got punched in the gut myself...
I honestly don't think I'm that type of personality, but I'm constantly telling my mother to STOP calling me to read medical results or help people at the hospital because I can SEE the pain and SMEEL the fear, it's strange, it's gotten to the point I need medication to keep myself functional, I didn't became a doctor because I don't have the nerves for it, I'm scared of feeling other people's pain, and not sympathy like, like ACTUALLY sharing the pain...
It really sucks... I just want to be left alone sometimes, but as an artist I have to put on a brave face because if I'm good at reading emotions I might as well use it to make my clients happy with their visions and extract info on their emotions to make the perfect work for them... that's the only use I can see myself having.

Formerly ENFP but once I found out I have AuDHD and masked a majority of my outward behaviors, I had to retest.
When I went to retest 3 years after the initial test I found out a few things:
    1. I took the initial test with an absolute bias towards who I WANTED to be vs recognizing the truth about my preferences.
    2. I realized it was a LOT easier to take the test honestly after unmasking
    3. I can't honestly take a single MBTI test without getting the INFJ result every time now lol So that's validating.

You got us on everything related. My love of finding family / research, reading about their lives, wondering cemeteries to taking photos ( love photography) of gravestones to also matching those to family , to DNA matches / stuff to looking for matches to unidentified people & researching missing people to reading & watching crime & mystery stuff . It all connects somewhere .

I think I relate to 90% of this... I feel like I can learn things 'quickly' but- I guess maybe it can just appear quick because I isolate myself in a room for 3 days watching every single video and experimenting like crazy until I get it figured out lol. So maybe that is still INFJ. I also think I understand my feelings- but maybe because I make a lot of effort of trying to figure it out haha. Like 3 years of therapy later- and I think I finally have a good system for figuring out why I'm feeling what I'm feeling.

So all but like maybe one of the points entirely described me so I might be an INFJ (like I’ve half-assumed for like the past year) but I’m still going to watch every RUclips video on it cuz people keep saying I’m not. 😔

I wouldn't lie and say im color blind. Something so dumb and insignificant, but still wouldn't lie. Just say i like several and name off like 3-4 colors that i love. Lying makes problems down the road and i dont want to create more drama, especially over something so little.

I actually took the official Myers-Briggs test from a psychiatrist about 25-30 yrs ago, and it was determined I was an INFJ. It explained a lot. It's always good to know that you're not alone... even if you are the rarest personality type.

INFJ is basically Kim Dokja of Omniscient Reader Viewpoint. We felt like the world was made for us to read. We are part of this world yet apart from it, like a reader of book, watchers of films, we are not the protagonist, nor antagonist, not even the side kicks of any stories, they say people are like books, but we INFJ are the READER, COMMENTER, & REVIEWER of life, we chose & pick which story we want to read, sometimes we stick longer, sometime we left, that is why we always felt alone, even in the middle of crowds, full of life.

I find Infjs very sensitive to criticism. Unlike the opposites like entp entjs that wouldn’t take jokes and criticism soooo personally like infjs would. Learned this from experience after years of hanging out with infjs

Not even the jump rope thing. Why so specific?!
But we can know ourselves, we just need to spend a lot of time mapping our whole personality, or whatever is there instead of one.
Also we are rebelous, but on greater matters we know are horribly wrong.
We won't risk bringing drama to a family gathering bc of some outdated beliefs. But we absolutely will go overthrow the government if we think that's what the world needs.

I was just thinking to myself how
"One second I can feel everything is so detached and nothing makes sense and then in the other I can make sense of it and make it familiar" it's like my Fe just puts a leash on my Ti
Makes me wonder for an ENTP who has Ti first and then Fe it must be opposite?
Like everything seems familiar and one second I'm so happy to be in this world and then suddenly I want to just get away with it all coz it all seems detached

First point: I hate drama. Ok, well thanks for reaffirming my INFJ-ness, let's still watch the entire video.
Edit: ok, the slow-learner part was wrong, I just love learning random stuff so much. The rest is spot-on. I've been working on identifying my feelings in the past years which led to the discovery that I'm a lesbian at the age of 24.

As for favorites, I could tell you my favorite color and ice cream flavor, but not my favorite movie, song or food. I dislike those type of questions. As a middle aged INFJ, my Fi use has gotten a little better. I can tell you how I generally feel, but not in a detailed immediate way like an INFP. Once you hit age 40, you get a little more access to your inferior and shadow functions.

    1. No. The reasons behind why are different though.
    2. No. People annoy me a lot, but I also like them more than a lot of other people I encounter, I'm also not in the mindset that everyone is terrible because of all the bad things happening in the world.
Bad things have always happened, but so have good things, I don't get how people can have friends, or family who care about them, who have seen people do good deeds, and still think humanity is horrible.
Not to mention if we didn't have people, we wouldn't be nearly as advanced as we are, actually, we wouldn't even be here.
To answer the question of why I usually don't like INFJs: They're hard for me to read and figure out, we're never on the same page, it's almost like they're from a different world compared to me, and it's not because they're the mysterious and unique type, I feel this sort of "I can't read you as well" block with all the NJs but INFJs are the hardest for me to understand.
    3. It depends, if it is useful and not just someone being rude, and they actually know what they're talking about and have stuff to back up what they're saying, then I don't mind criticism and I'd prefer it to someone just letting things slide until they can't take it anymore and they explode because they were too worried about hurting someone's feelings, so they didn't tell them what the problem was.
This happens to me all the time, people will get mad at me out of nowhere when they should have just spoken up a long time ago so we could sort things out then and there, I'm not a mind reader, if I was I'd be taking that on the road and monetizing my talents.
I don't feel guilty at all that I upset them, in fact, it actually lowered my opinion of them and unlike them, I'm not afraid to let my opinion about someone be known to their face.
    4. Yessss. Thinking on my feet let's my show off my skills.
    5. Yes. It's not to this extreme, but I have a fairly broad range of interests and I'm always looking to pick up new skills.
You said WHAT about ISFJs?! Tsk tsk tsk, this SJ slander has gone too far, it's going down now, the SJs vs the NPs, we fight at 2:30 PM on the third Wednesday in June 2026 behind a hospital, that way, if someone gets injured we won't have to go too far to get medical attention.
I bet the schedule is making the NPs shake in their mismatched socks hahahahaha.
I think we should start things off with a cheer competition, and the NPs can pick what's next.
    6. Yes. I pick up things quicker than most people I know, and I have a really good memory too which helps out a lot with that.
    7. Yes.
    8. I usually don't give my feelings enough attention to understand them.
    9. Most of the time absolutely not. Not only am I rule follower, but I'm a rule enforcer. When I see someone doing something they're not supposed to be doing, I don't even think about it, it's like autopilot for me correcting them.
When it comes to following the rules, I'll follow them as long as the person giving them has the authority to tell me what to do, and they know what they're talking about.
Otherwise, I will question them and suggest a better way if I see it, and if they're not willing to listen, I tell them to get bent and and I leave, which probably isn't something an INFJ would do lmao.

I took the test years ago and was an infj, took it again recently and was still an infj, and took it again with two close friends who gave me their opinion of me while I was taking the test because they thought I would get something other than Infj. and I still got infj after that I became obsessed with reading about it because I've never felt so understood. I started asking people to take this test, read about their personality types, and found out that my two closest friends are both Enfjs. I found out that my own sister is also an infj, which shocked me, but is still so obvious when I think about it. We have a love-hate relationship because we understand eachother so much that it hurts. When I realized that none of the people I spoke to about this test were really interested in reading about themselves, I wondered why only infjs have such an interest in MBTI? From this I came to the conclusion that only an infj could have created this test. I googled it, and yes, Katharine Briggs was an infj, her daughter was an infp, they created this test together.
