Predivan automobil. Ispred svog vremena ili točnije - bezvremenski. Uvijek sam bio ljubitelj Saaba. Uvijek sam ih čeznutljivo gledao prilikom susreta na cesti. Poslije svog prvog jugoslavenskog automobila htio sam kupiti Saab. 🇭🇷🤝🇸🇪
Thank you Jonas for sharing your passion for the Saab brand, I have always loved this brand since my youth and the 900 turbo. My dad had a 2008 Saab 9-3 in 2.0 turbo. Your 9-5 is absolutely beautiful, to say that this car is over 10 years old, but this design is timeless!!! Thank you for your videos, friendly from a Frenchman, Saab passion has no borders!!
Great video! I bought a 2011 95 Aero back in 2019 you've inspired me to do upgrades. Prior to this 95 I was a proud owner of a 2008 TurboX which I lost to hitting an Elk at 90 MPH. That car saved our life.
I have a stock silver 2000 MK1 Saab 9-5 Aero with the hammerhead alloys, and I love it more than any other car out there, it is a shame that Saab are not produced anymore. , I also believe that these cars were ahead of their time. Keep up the great work as you are keeping the Saab name alive. Fantastic job with this rebuild. Well done....Also very sad to see the factory looking like a ghost town...
Your 9-5 is absolutely stunning Jonas 😎 She sounds amazing 😍 So sad to see the factory all deserted, why can't someone bring Saab back 😢 Sending saab love from the UK 🇬🇧 😎

Handling of my Turbo6 improved a lot when I bought forged 20" wheels. With usual 20" wheels the car felt heavy indeed. I'm also waiting a custom full exhaust build for my Turbo6 made by the local tuning shop. Excited about how it sounds and feels to drive :)
Ich liebe diesen SAAB, ein Traumwagen, schade das er keine Chance bekommen hat. Er wäre immer besser geworden, wenn er es gedurft hätte. Er hat eine SAAB Seele.
I would love to get a NG 9-5... But the fear of not having sold much and there´s no "scrap yards" with NG 9-5´s (as they are with the OG) makes me to resist to buy it. It should be awesome to have one with the reassurance that there are an abundance of parts avaiable.... Not the service parts... but doors, bonets, headlights, taillights, boot, extras.... etc Kudos to your beautifull car Jonas You are a true Saab embassador my friend!!
This was one of the nicest looking cars I owned one a short time inside and outside it was a very handsome vehicle I sold it because I was worried about parts in the future .. I really miss SAAB and ISUZU.
Thank you for keeping the Saabs on the road I will try to help here in America I have a 01 saab 9-5 aero stage 3 and a 03 saab 9-3 vector stock for now. I want a NG 9-5 that's a nice one bud great work on it. Keep up the awesome videos...
Thank you for giving us a great review of both the car and the factory. As a new owner of a 2011 Saab 95 I agree with all your comments. It would be nice if you post a list of your upgrades.
Hi Jonas, thanks for the great video of the former SAAB factory and your NG9-5. Really appreciate what you are doing for the community. Do you still own the 96? Looking forward on any updates on that car.
Great video Jonas ... and nice car! I cannot believe that the Swedish gouvernemnt let this outrageous thing happen ... Saab is history ... it's a way of life ... such a shame!
@@JonasKakarikas I found a more neglected NG 95 a few weeks ago... might offer the owner some money, or at least leave them my number and tell them to call me if they ever want to sell it
I recently got the Maptun coil overs along with a dual exhaust, do88 intercooler. I’m considering a stage 3 Maptun. No the parts have been installed yet, I would like your opinion on the Maptun products and upgrading my 2008 9-5 Aero wagon
Jonas, there's so little about tuning about these cars - Do You know what are the possibilities of this engine? I'm mainly interested if it's possible to go past 300KM, what kind of mods would be needed, and what restrictions this car has. (auto tranny i.e.?, pistons?). I tried to find any information on the net, but in comparison to 9-5OG, almost nothing can be found except tuners who offer just a simple stage 1 (only ecu tune). Maybe You have any further information on this matter and can share with us? thanks
Pretty easily tuned, full exhaust and bigger turbo and you Will be able to push 350-400hp, The rods are The weak spot of this engine. I dont know the limitation for the auto gearbox, The 6speed manual will hold the power with an upgraded clutch. Message DionHPT for more detailed information 🙏
Jonas, the only thing I'm missing in these reviews is that You could show us how the car accelerates in details - maybe either with racelogic or simply by showing the speedometer, i.e. 0-100. Especially when You're comparing turbo4 and turbo6, and You're saying that the car feels much better after the tune and v6 seems slower. We could feel it too ;) Anyways, thanks for great content.
