- hi friends - today I show you a typical day in my life in PT school as a DPT student! I am a first semester physical therapy student at Mercer University in Atlanta. Come with me as I go to class, cadaver lab, study for my anatomy exam, and do some fun Christmas shopping at Target!

Omg I studied biomedical engineering and worked with cadavers a few times..it was SO hard to get used to at first so major props to you for doing so much of the cutting in your lab!!

Hi Kristen!!! Love your videos! I'll be attending PT school next year and I have to admit I'm nervous but excited! Do you recommend a certain type of laptop? And what do you suggest for squeamish ppl lol, I worry about the cadavers...
hi! i love my macbook & my ipad 7th gen both :) we take all of our exams online so really any laptop will do. i am SO squeamish, i would be upfront about it and tell the lab instructor so you can be i. a group with lab partners who are more comfortable with disecting and you can kind of step back (at least initially). some people put vicks rub or essential oils on to help with the smell. hope this helps!

How long did it take for you to get hired at an agency? Most of the agencies require a Medicaid number or aba experience (which I don’t have). I passed my exam over 2 weeks ago

PT varies a lot depending. in the US, you need to do 4 years of university and then 3 more years to obtain a Doctorate in PT. no we do not! we mostly do manual therapy and exercises
