Hello everyone, I've read your comments and I want to have an open conversation about the title of this video. As a newcomer to the Souls series and challenge runs, I've been on a steep learning curve, and it seems I've unintentionally stepped into a complex aspect of our community's culture. When I used "world's first" in the title, it was out of genuine excitement and, admittedly, a bit of naiveté. I wasn't aware of the full implications and the seriousness with which such claims are taken. To me, it was simply a way to express that I hadn't seen anyone else do this particular challenge in the way I did it. It was that simple in my mind. I now realize that within the Souls community, and gaming at large, these words have a significant and specific meaning that I didn't fully grasp. I respect the dedication and integrity of challenge runners and the importance of accurate representation in our shared space. While I won't be changing the title at this stage to preserve the context of our discussions, I want you to know that I've learned an important lesson. Your feedback has been invaluable, and I will be much more considerate in how I communicate my future achievements. This is all part of my journey in becoming a more thoughtful and informed member of the gaming community. Thank you for your understanding and for helping educate me on this matter. Your engagement is incredibly important to me. Let's continue to share our gaming experiences and support one another in both our personal and communal achievements. ❤- Sav
Warpaint on: Check. Canned Heat in: Check. Just immaculate execution the whole way. And then the adrenaline dam bursts and almost crushes you. The recognition on that last dodge after the greed was about as good, and as close, as it gets. Congratulations brave tarnished. Thy strength befits a crown.
Well, that title will likely bring a lot of hate your way. I personally don't really care, but, I just wanted to inform you. There's a big difference between something that feels personal to you, and making a public statement. For example, your mother might feel like the most important person on the planet to you personally, but if you post a video on RUclips titled: 'Interviewing the most important person in the world", that is going to be interpreted as an extremely arrogant statement, because it has moved from a statement about your personal judgement to a public statement. A similar thing happens here with the scale of achievement. I have no doubt that for you, it's an amazing achievement that took a lot of work to do, and you can be proud of it. But, to the internet, it's not that much of an impressive feat, because other people have accomplished more previously. While you're probably correct that this exact combination is world first, this is more of a technicality. It's unreasonable to expect for people to be aware of context. For instance, if I tell you that you should be treated like a cow, but then, in the comments, I follow it up with "but in India, a cow is considered a sacred animal, so we treat it with extreme care and preciousness, that's what I meant". You see, while I might have truly meant it that way, it's not how it's going to be interpreted by most people, realistically. I think, in this case, you want the title to stress the personal significance of the achievement to you, for example, "MY first Godfrey HITLESS Dex, Melee only, etc." - I think this communicates what's significant about this achievement to you, while avoiding a lot of misunderstanding. And, I don't think it will impact the performance of the video at all, if anything, people nowadays are looking for more of a personal connection, rather than raw accomplishments. If you understand all this, and still want to keep the title and just test your luck, by all means, the decision is yours. I just wanted to explain how I view the situation, so that it can help you make a better decision.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and for the valuable insight regarding the title of my video. As someone who is relatively new to the Souls gaming community and RUclips, I'm still navigating the nuances of content creation and community engagement in this space. Your analogy about the significance of personal achievements versus public statements is well taken. It was never my intention to come across as arrogant or to diminish the accomplishments of other players. The title "world's first" was meant to convey the personal milestone of completing a unique challenge in my own style of playthrough, which I was excited to share with my audience. As a content creator who prioritizes community and connection over competition, the last thing I want is to alienate passionate gamers who have a deep respect for the achievements within the Souls series. I appreciate the suggestion to reframe the title in a way that emphasizes the personal nature of the achievement without claiming a broader "world's first" status. That's a helpful perspective, and I will certainly take it into consideration for future content. However, I've decided to keep the title as is for the time being. I believe that changing it now would invalidate the dialogue that has already taken place in the comments, and I don't want to erase those interactions. I value every person's input, and I respect the time they've taken to contribute to the conversation - whether they agree with me or not. Please know that I've learned from this experience, and I am grateful for the community's feedback. Moving forward, I will be more mindful of how I present my content to ensure that it's received in the spirit intended: as a celebration of gaming, of personal challenges overcome, and of the community we're building together. Again, thank you for your advice and for expressing your viewpoint in such a thoughtful manner. I'm here to learn and grow, and your comment has certainly contributed to that. Let's continue to support each other in the gaming community and celebrate each unique journey, whether it's a world's first or a personal first. Happy gaming! ❤- Sav
Congrats! very cool / creative challenge. I remember stopping the game at this boss and taking months off of elden ring bc i was exhausted and fatigued from the boss fights haha. Came back later and respecced and beat him after 5-10 tries. Def flipped the bird to the tv lol
Every boss in ER has been no-hit a bunch of times by now. I did a full no-hit run. It’s difficult, and good job, but there are no more bosses left that you can no-hit for the first time ever.
Hello there! I appreciate your message! This run is unique because it exclusively relies on a twin blade with flat damage, eschewing buffs, items, and spells. While hitless runs typically incorporate these elements, I took a different approach, distinguishing my achievement from others who have completed this fight without taking damage. It’s not the first no-hit Hoarah Loux, it’s the first of its kind 🙏
The man is a legend, no doubt. There's certainly some people out there that can do it. But it's okay to recognize this for what it is without comparison. You don't really see these people doing anything but praising each other up and celebrating one another's accomplishments. Because they know what it takes to do it.

I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for the incredible support you've shown for my content! Your encouragement means the world to me as I embark on my first playthrough of Elden Ring, and I can't thank you enough for embracing my ambitious idea of attempting hitless bosses and a challenge run from the start. The journey has been filled with countless trials, but the elation of achieving victory is beyond words. However, the real treasure in all of this has been the time spent with our amazing community, learning and perfecting this challenge together. Your warmth and genuine camaraderie have made this experience truly special. @@SavPlaysGames hmm, alright then, don't worry about it. in challenge running communities it's usually frowned upon to use WF over stuff that doesn't specifically conform to a certain set of categories. but there's nothing wrong with doing your own thing and if you're happy with it and it helps your channel/twitch grow i hope you keep doing more unique stuff like this!
You’re the first person to tell me that! This is my first Playthrough and I am new to souls games and Twitch/RUclips culture. Two years ago, I started playing Bloodborne when the game helped me through a very difficult period after the passing of my father and brothers. When I first played Bloodborne, I didn't know much about it and ended up facing the two werewolves in the Iosefka s clinic without any weapons. Since then, I've made it a point to take on various challenges in my initial playthroughs. However, my goal isn't to win awards or accolades for my gameplay. I've simply never seen anyone approach the game in the same way, and my friends in the Hitless community have shown me their support. No one has ever told me that what I'm doing is wrong. I'm just having fun and aiming to raise awareness for mental health. The journey of tackling these challenges and the sense of control over not giving up on something important to you is incredibly meaningful to me. While I'm eager to share my achievements, I want to make it clear that I never intend to offend anyone.
@@SavPlaysGames Oh my god the passing of your father and brothers? I'm so sorry to hear that was something you had to go through. As for the titles, it's not "wrong" and I don't think you should do anything about it. Especially when it's such a niche whose toes you're stepping on. Normally people use the convention I use in most of my kills "Game - Level - Restrictions - No Hit" but that is not something that will help you grow as trust me, nobody clicks on something titled that way. I personally say do your thing and ignore the naysayers, just be aware of this being a thing.
Hi @0rinthal15 ! Firstly, I appreciate you taking the time to watch and engage with my content, however, I feel compelled to share my perspective with you. The moment I achieved my long-awaited goal of obtaining my boss was incredibly significant to me. It represented the culmination of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, and it's only natural that I would experience a rush of emotions in that moment. I believe that allowing ourselves to feel and express our emotions is an essential part of being human, and it's something that I personally value deeply. I understand that not everyone may share the same level of intensity in their emotions, and that's perfectly okay. However, I kindly ask for your understanding and empathy towards my own experience. It's important to remember that we all have our unique ways of processing and expressing our feelings, and that diversity is what makes our human experience so rich and meaningful. I want to assure you that my intention is never to make anyone feel uncomfortable or to seek attention through my emotions. Instead, I aim to authentically share my journey, including the highs and lows, with my audience. It's a reflection of my genuine excitement and happiness, and I hope that it can resonate with others in their own pursuits. I would like to invite you to consider the impact of making comments that belittle or ridicule the emotions of others. It's a powerful act of kindness and mindfulness to support and uplift one another, especially in moments of vulnerability and joy. Rather than focusing on the way I express myself, I encourage you to join me in celebrating the achievements and experiences that bring us happiness and fulfillment. Once again, I appreciate your engagement with my content, and I hope that we can foster a community of respect and understanding where everyone feels valued and accepted.
Good kill. Title is click-baity. You deciding to keep it is interesting, knowing the full implications now after being educated. The title is misleading, I would suggest putting the word "my" in front of worlds first, then it wont be so click-baity.
