    Hawawshi is considered one of the most delicious Egyptian dishes that everyone loves, whether old or young. Although it is possible to buy hawawshi from restaurants, home-made hawawshi has no taste or smell
    In this video, we will learn how to make hawawshi at home, like in restaurants, and we will reveal the secret of seasoning the meat that makes it delicious and crunchy.
    Ingredients:
    1 kilo minced meat (beef or lamb)
    Chopped large onion
    Chopped large bell pepper
    Hot pepper (as desired), chopped
    A tablespoon of sumac
    A tablespoon of salt
    A teaspoon of black pepper
    A teaspoon of hawawshi spices (available in the market)
    Vegetable oil for frying
    Method:
    1. In a large bowl, mix the minced meat, chopped onions, chopped bell pepper, and chopped hot pepper.
    2. Add sumac, salt, black pepper, and hawawshi spices.
    3. Mix the ingredients well until combined.
    4. Spread a loaf of bread on one side, then put an amount of the minced meat mixture in the middle.
    5. Grease the loaf with vegetable oil
    6. Spread the vegetable oil in a wide frying pan.
    7. Place the hawawshi in the hot pan and stir on both sides until the meat is cooked and the bread is browned.
    8. Serve the hawawshi hot with ketchup, mayonnaise, or hot sauce as desired.

    To get the Hawawshi crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it is recommended to fry the Hawawshi on low heat for 10-15 minutes on each side.
    You can add other ingredients to the minced meat mixture, such as cheese, tomatoes, or olives.
    If you want to cook the hawawshi in the oven, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
