I agree with others when it comes to HP. A 60-75 HP power head would make all the difference in the world for allot of us, especially at this price point. That being said, don't know how the lower unit would hold up to that kind of HP? Been waiting for a motor like this for a long time! Also, like others, beyond ready for some demo videos!
@@ProDriveOutboardsVideoswith new boys entering the game with a new approach like FreedomOutboards already showing their product with its speed durability price points and specs when are you going to show your loyal customers why they should be waiting for this unit over a Freedom Outboard as they come in different HP ratings and are saying they are coming out with 115hp in 2025 possibly?
I guess they’re not building this motor since it’s not on their website. I guess whoever they bought that power head from didn’t want the competition!?!? 🤷🏼♂️
It’s been a month since teasing your loyal customers with these new beautiful products when are we going to get to see these beauties in action and explained??!😢
Being that tohatsu 40/50 are the same motor minus the restrictor, why would you designate this as a 50hp and limit your buyers significantly? People will not be able to buy this to run in lacassine pool
The 40/50 are same engines yes,but the restricted plate pulled out doesn't make it a 50 sir,it's all in the turning of computer.....we've done dyno test, pulling restrictions out of the 40hp,add 3.9hp....not 10
@vieuxacadian9455 yeah but u still have the problem of having to use external water to cool it What happens when it's below zero out or ur running a mud flat
Way too complicated. This design is going backwards from the regular mud motor not forward.I predict this will fade into oblivion due to the unholy marriage of outboard powered and mud motor lower unit.Frankinmud! 🧙♂️
I’ve been begging them for this reverse, this is why I love these guys
I wanna see a demo on the water
The cooling system is similar to the snowmobile, too. Nice concept 👌 that pro-drive.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this found the perfect boat to pair up with this amazing machine.

I’d like to see how it does in a stump field, but extremely interesting design and product
Awesome! Love it!
You gonna ditch your gator tail now 😂😂
@@aidanemery5947 we bought a pro-drive earlier this year
Nice to see a mud motor with a proper marine grade power head.
Will this be offered in any higher HP?
Basic u install the heat sink to the hull. But if you stop and idle on mud, would it it overheat in 5 min, 10 min? It's a small heat sink honestly
You have my attention sir. 2 months since this video. Are there anymore?
This looks like a great excuse to upgrade my gen3…. Exactly what I’ve been waiting for.
Awesome setup
Would love to buy one of these! Just can’t find any I do about these. Ready to see them run.
Would love to see that motor running and some stress tests in mud!
Coming soon!
@@ProDriveOutboardsVideoswhat is soon 😂 we all itching to see this beauty in action
@ProDriveOutboardsVideos whatever happened to this... haven't seen anything about it anywhere.
Yea buddy! Now lets get a video of KP using this in the wata!
How about some footage of it in the water running ?
We will have in depth action and demonstration videos coming soon.

Hear the bobwhites whistling in the background?
All over Louisiana bobwhites have taken a hit, and Pro Drive has them in their backyard.
Excellent KP!
I haven’t seen any more about this. How much and are they available? Also any test videos?
I want this video exactly like the original commercial of the old school manual trim vid.
When are these motors going to be for sale?
I guess they’re not building this motor since it’s not on their website. I guess whoever they bought that power head from didn’t want the competition!?!? 🤷🏼♂️
Prob got into beef with freedom since they do the same with tohatsu heads
Pls show us you’re power trim system
When is this available
Did yall actually manufacture these? I don’t see them in your website.
Can you develop a four blade prop for this engine?
Dang it’s taking a long time to edit the new video
When is this going to be available??
Is this specific to your boats only?
Will it be offered with a center console hull..My shoulders are too old for the tiller lol 😅
Anyone have a rough idea of cost? And where are we supposed to mount the keel cooler so it doesnt get ripped off? On the transom maybe?
Feel like boat manufacturers will probably make a recesses spot in the bottom of the hull so the cooler sits flush with the bottom of the boat
For questions about prices and details, please call our shop and ask to speak with our GM. 337-229-0034 . Our hours are M-F 8am-5pm CST
When will the next video be released on this new set up
Did you guys give up on these or what?
Is that a tohatsu engine
Sure is

Outta put the heat exchangers on the lower unit.

It may have to do with the restrictions of what many boats might be "rated" for on the sticker and they have to play that game.

Sweet motor but it won’t work for us in rocky rivers in the northwest
Cool concept but even with the camo something just looks off. I own a 37 pro drive and I love it but this is to different motors
Having the exhaust right next to the oil reservoir probably isn’t a good idea.
Guess this motor is just never going to actually come out?
They obviously having issues! I just wish they would be honest about it
Why not just use a radiator and electric fan
physical size
@vieuxacadian9455 yeah but u still have the problem of having to use external water to cool it

shut up and take my money. where can i buy this, when is it available
That thing is gonna get ripped off the bottom of the boat and plugged up with mud within 100 yards

This is the most idiotic idea that I have ever seen…
Looking at $20K to purchase one-🤷
How much does it weigh?
What brand is the actual powerhead? Suzuki, Merc, Yamaha?
Tohatsu
@@Wyatt_M140 Thanks! They make great motors and have been very popular in the third world. What kind of motor warranty?
@@charlesmarshall2697 I have no idea. I can tell it's a tohatsu because I had one. Yes, I agree they are great engines.
