Unboxing Red Table Co. Apollo begleri

I have practiced begleri like, for a month I guess, and my aluminum begleri got so much of scratches and dents all that. I feel bad now when I touch it now. So I ordered another one, but this seems legit. Is this okay now? How about yours?

That's just the way it goes bud, all begleri are going to get beaten up. A well loved begleri is a dented and scratched begleri.

Do the bearings and screws come with each set or is that something that comes with all the Begleri’s? And I noticed they sell disc mods on their site, is that also something you have to order along with each Begleri?

the screws and bearings only come with modular apollos. the disc mods are optional additional weight if desired but not required

Why would you need bearings on it? i mean the screws are good but i think the barings whould be as the micro hydras

It works similarly to a 5a yoyo counterweight or kendama tama with a bearing in it; it allows the string tension to correct itself, and the bead to stay straighter during play. It's subtle, but it works.

Do those screws strip at all? Would love a set when they come back in stock, however.

Eric L. I've had them about a month, the screws show actually no sign of wear at all, they're made of stainless steel so they're pretty durable. These sets also come with a few extra screws in the case that one does get stripped, but they thread in surprisingly smooth for how small they are and stay put until you're ready to restring

I'm a fan of the apollos, I like the weight, bead shape, and the fact that I can easily fit 550 paracord into them. I know a lot of people who enjoy the kokonutz as well. It really just comes down to preference, so get whichever you think are cooler, they both will play fine.
