I can guarantee that when I’m done cooking I’m making these donuts muffins. Irene really does inspire me to cook more and honestly, I love it.
My father passed away in April and my aunt passed away last month. This series and its use of humor to explore the humor in life, death, and food has really helped me through the grieving process as well as reminded me that we carry those we have lost with us in the love we share with others, and in the passion they gave us for life. Thank you so much Irene for reminding me of that.

My grandmother used to say that the kitchen is the most social place of the house. And anytime we went over to her house we were ALWAYS in the kitchen. She cooked terribly. Anyways, these videos remind me of hanging out in her kitchen, except with superior cooking. And that makes me happy. Can’t wait for the next video! I love Irene’s personality.
