My father is EXACTLY like De Niro's character in the film. The temperment, the sadism, the tone of his voice and his phrasing. It felt like a home movie at times.
My father was exactly the same, exhibiting the same behavioral patterns and thinking he was better than anyone. Whenever I see De Niro, I see my father - any movie.
dwight in the movie sounded and acted dorky, to lighting the womans cigarette, the shooting contest, the story about the bully at school, the oh oh oh im so scared ohhh.
