As I commented under the previous video, a significant potential risk of this stock seems to be the fixed nature of their liquefaction fee: if there is no yearly escalation you may see the profits end up getting squeezed by higher costs, if we have another burst of inflation.
Thanks for the thesis. I think it applies to other LNG companies, too. While Cheniere is big and, although more stable, will grow slower NFE looks like a better bargain - forward PE is much better than cheniere's. What do you think?

The info in this is just from Perplexity AI and I haven't checked it. The Conservative Party of Canada has a strongly pro-oil and gas industry stance, including the expansion of oil and gas production. They want to increase Canadian oil and gas production and exports, rather than phasing them out as the Liberal government would like to do, and they promise to quickly approve natural gas exports and grant rapid permits to liquefied natural gas facilities. There are signs of the Conservatives gaining in popularity against the Liberals, e.g. the Liberals lost a traditionally safe seat in Montreal in a September 2024 by-election. There's also some complication from the New Democratic Party, which ended an agreement with the Liberal Party. The Federal election is due before the end of October 2025. A snap election (before it's due) is possible, I suppose if the government gets some popularity they think is probably short-lived. So, if the next government is Conservative, what are the implications for Cheniere? My guess is there's enough demand for LNG that competition from Canada won't be a problem, but I'm no O&G expert. About the state of Canada's LNG export capacity, they don't have any major operational LNG export facilities, but there are several projects in various stages of development. The LNG Canada project, once operational, will be Canada's first large-scale LNG export facility. It aims to start exports by 2025, marking a significant milestone for Canada's LNG industry. I'm not trimming my LNG holding, at least not near the current price, but it's not a very big holding, because I know I'm not expert on O&G, never mind the LNG part of it. @theptientinvestor9580 thanks for the video!
