It is important for Western media to accurately represent India's economic diversity, instead of relying on outdated and narrow stereotypes. While poverty certainly exists in India, it is not synonymous with the country's population as a whole. It is misleading to constantly depict India through images of slums, as this only perpetuates negative and one-dimensional perceptions. India has vibrant and prosperous urban areas, where many affluent individuals and businesses thrive.
Sure the elites sre stinky rich and have townhouses in London, but the vast majority are dirt poor and live in slums worse than any in LA, Atlanta or Chicago.
One third of the world's malnourished children live in India. People like you who deny the problem are part of the problem 😴

India's total fertility rate is 2.0, meaning the average women in India is producing 2 childern... which is similar to western standards. The population increases is simply due to the momentum of growth and the fact people are living longer healthier lifes compared to the past and not dying early.
It will drop to 1.5 by 2030. The population will rise in the next two decades and then it will flatten itself out.
Population growth does not automatically equals to economic growth.
America is facing much the same problem as India, though on a much smaller scale. Loads of young people have good educations and no jobs.

Most of us do not have more children than we can afford. Guess they did not teach that there. The men there need to be taught the proper "exit strategy" to keep the numbers down.
People in poorer societies have more children for two main reasons - high infant mortality and because their children are often their only pension plan. If they don't have enough children survive to working age they will have no one to support them when they're old.
The solution is not telling people to behave differently, because what they're doing is already their best strategy for the conditions they're living in. The solution is to change the conditions.
Most of us have 2 or 3 child. Back then 50's,60,70,80 conditions were different.
Our current govt is in favour of manking law in country regarding birth control. But our Muslims are against it so does our "seculars" and secular parties.

You might think it's a false assumption that one causes the other but they argued that if women watch soap operas they start to see that there are alternatives to the way they've been living.
Naturally, a country where more people can watch soap operas is also a richer country, so that has an effect, and it's probably a much bigger effect, but I like the idea that exposing people to different ways of life, even through fiction, can help reduce population growth.
Soap operas tend to give a very idealized fantasy of what life can be like but when people (especially women) watching them start to identify with characters who are maybe older but still have fewer or no children, it makes them think about that as being possible.
Birth control is an important part of it, of course, and in America a significant political faction is trying to take it away from people, bit by bit.
