"Brenda and I are both lamaze graduates" is so funny ahahahahahaa i have never read a more pretensious line so perfectly delivered ahahahahahhahahahahahha
One of my top 5 movies of all time, period. This is one of the most bizarre skits I've ever seen...and one of the funniest. I've seen it dozens of times and still laugh out loud...especially when the doctor dresses up his hand and gives it the bottle. Man that's just so twisted and brilliant!
Griffin Dunne said in a Reddit AMA that he had a huge crush on Michelle Pfeiffer during this time, and was waiting for her to break up with Peter Horton, who she was married to at the time. She eventually did split with Horton, but ironically, she dated one of Dunne's good friends for a couple of years, Fisher Stevens.
Patients: "We're both lamaze graduates." Doctor: "Oh Luuhaaaaaaze. I forgot you spent three whole weekends sitting on a floor learning how to breathe. I had to get by on a degree from Harvard medical school." Briliant!!
I didn't remember the man calling for Thelma to help at 0:12. Same Thelma from the opening sketch with Arsenio Hall? Its been so long since I watched it that I might not recall it being an ongoing bit in the movie.
The screenplay for "Amazon Women on the Moon" was written by Jim Mulholland. Jim started out writing comedy material for Johnny Carson and was one of his youngest writers. When Johnny was doing a Friar's Roast of actor George C. Scott, Johnny invited Jim Mulholland as an audience member, where he sat near the front. When Don Rickles did his presentation, he decided to "honor" Jim Mulholland with the Rickles "treatment." You can see Don's roasting of Jim in this clip (in the second half), although we don't get to actually see Jim. ruclips.net/video/70FAros7QQA/видео.html
@burtonrules123 Two scenes from a relatively old and brilliant comedy film. Amazon Women on The Moon. It's a load of different sketches. There are loads more. The Invisible Man is my personal favourite. It's dated now but you got to appreciate the old school stuff.
Along with movies so bad they’re good like Return of the Killer Tomatoes and Night of the Comet, Amazon Women on the Moon is one of my favorite bad movies.
It was the 80's, you really had no choice, technology to make lenses smaller and thinner did not exist. Trust me on this one. Very truly yours, Someone who has worn glasses all his life.
And I thought Michelle Pfeiffer was beautiful in Scarface. She is gorgeous in this movie! What a waste of a skit for her talent. Funny movie, this scene though......not so much.
What a cheap trash comedy..really highlights how even top actors can't do anything to save their grace with such roles. That guy (with glasses) was her husband btw. Peter Horton
This is my favorite movie of all time especially with Michelle pfeiffer in it she is so beautiful and very talented
It’s one of my all-time favourites too. 🤣❤️
"Brenda and I are both lamaze graduates" is so funny ahahahahahaa i have never read a more pretensious line so perfectly delivered ahahahahahhahahahahahha
One of my FAVOURITE scenes from this film!
The mouth drawn on his hand is PRICELESS!
"would you prefer to breast feed" ? wouldn't we all...
Griffin D. Is silly as hell in this!😆❤️
The main takeaway from this sketch is that Michelle Pfeiffer can look stunning enough to stop traffic even in a hospital gown.
Definitely. I agree.👍
Yes!!!, , inner & outer beauty.. , wonderful acting..
yes
I completely forgot Joey Pants was in this! What a BEAUTIFUL, totally natural head of hair!
Yup that is her. Don't forget Griffin Dunne from 'American Werewolf in London'.
I was in college when this movie came out. 1987? The good ole days!

This movie is so underated. I laughed my ass off
Starring LOTS OF ACTORS!!!
I've seen this movie a million times. It is CLASSIC.

I was just thinking of this quote the other night: "Thank God you took that Assertiveness Training Course." HaHa I love it,
1:15 That quote about upholding an oath and thumb move kill me every time.
This is probably one movie Michelle would like to forget.
Quantimania is way worse...at least this is funny.
Patients: "We're both lamaze graduates."
Doctor: "Oh Luuhaaaaaaze. I forgot you spent three whole weekends sitting on a floor learning how to breathe. I had to get by on a degree from Harvard medical school."
Briliant!!
I could stare at Pfeifffer all day, so beautiful.
Jay McD same here
She is very pretty.
Sexy and beautiful. Sensual voice as well.
x100
Paul Pfeiffer? Weirdo
Everyone is staring at her and she's lovely, but I'm staring at Griffin Dunne. Handsome AND funny.
Me too! Took the words out of mouth ❤️🤣
One of the funnier clips in a movie, Griffin Dunne is so funny in this.
"Would you rather breastfeed him?" I lost it!
Ralphie! You crazy bastard! You ruled the New Jersey construction underworld!
I love this silly movie.
Michelle is a goddess
I didn't remember the man calling for Thelma to help at 0:12. Same Thelma from the opening sketch with Arsenio Hall? Its been so long since I watched it that I might not recall it being an ongoing bit in the movie.
He's calling for his wife Selma. Arsenio is mentioning that a Thelma doesn't live at the number he's at.
@@sha11235 Is that what he's mentioning... 😲He pretty clearly says Thelma, an ongoing joke from the Arsenio sketch at the beginning of the movie.
What about the nine kids I didn't lose this week!?

Jim co-wrote it with Michael Barrie, who has been his writing partner on other projects.
That Cy guy at the end looks like Ed Bassmaster.
"That's NOT a baby!...That's a Mr. Potato Head!" 😂😂😂
Is that guy from Side out?
AIN'T NO FUCKING THELMA HERE, MAN!!!
These two were actually married in real life.
5:17 Is that Joey Pants?
I remember the VHS cover had the Mr. Potato Head! Amongst other characters.
LOL that's the best part of this movie!
it so isn't funny nonetheless but....
😳😳 in the laundry hamper " !!🙀
dunne is a funny bastard
Oh my God it's Jack from American werewolf in London damn
"A little quality time with your son? You _people_ ..."
Peter Horton also directed stuff for this film. This wasn't one of the scenes, though.

April Nicholas so nostalgic. I used to sit up late at night and watch this on HBO

Always wanted to see the rest of the videos in that treasure chest.
Isn't this a clip from Thirtysomething?
Amazon Women on the Moon. Dunno know if they played it on the tv show.

Yes, it wasn't bad SFFOOL76, or should I say Mr. Griffin Dunne? Yes? Okay, "Mr. Griffin Dunne". There, I've said it and I'm glad.
Mr Potato Head....lol!!!!
A little quality time with your son? That'd be beautiful..
Ha ha ha!
Good lord, are his eyeglasses supposed to be covering half his face??
It was the 80's, you really had no choice, technology to make lenses smaller and thinner did not exist. Trust me on this one.
Very truly yours,
Someone who has worn glasses all his life.
What about the 9 kids I didn’t lose this week
#Comms
someone getting a mr potatohead for a kidney
1:23 in 2020
What do you get when you cross a human with a cat?
Mr. Potatoe Head
The Mr. Potato Head is sticking his tongue out at the father!
And I thought Michelle Pfeiffer was beautiful in Scarface. She is gorgeous in this movie! What a waste of a skit for her talent. Funny movie, this scene though......not so much.
Remake this with
Steve Carrell as the Doctor
Jennifer Lawrence as the Mother
Seth Rogen as the Father
Please.
Why would you actively want to make it less funny than it already is?
No.
I don't have time for this
fucking hair looming.
When I was 20 and stoned seemed much funnier. Painful to watch.
I'm 41 & stoned & this shit is still hilarious Mr Grouch.
That’s not a baby, that’s a Mr Potatohead.
What a cheap trash comedy..really highlights how even top actors can't do anything to save their grace with such roles.

MEH !...
This is a couple of 80’s leftists
I never thought she was that fit. Scarface could of done better
