Great timing for me Smoak! I've ridden for 40 years, now being touring bikes. I found out a week ago I have very severe nerve damage in both legs. It's most likely not going to get better. I'm only 58. I'll be buying one of these this year or next. As always great quality video. Thank you for all details you covered.

Thanks for the great 2020 RTL walkaround. I was afraid you were going to miss the chrome on the dash. One thing you may not have noticed, the RTL's have a color-matched rearview mirror. The RT's and blackout RTL's have black mirrors. You take the RTL as a loaner and we will have matching SpYders. And from what I hear about that color, you, me and most of the 2020 owners will too. Ryde safe.
Took delevery on my 2020 RT Limited 2/1. Your videos played a large part in me making my decision. Keep up the good work. You're right about the "learning curve", coming off 2 wheels but coming around after 180 miles. Still have my 2017 GS Adventure just because I love that bike! Grand Kids are excited about the new Spyder as am I. Thanks again for all the hours of good info I watched over the past couple months.

That might be the best looking Spyder I've seen! I was always for the F3 but that RT, WOW! I can't believe how much nicer the RT's look now.

Love that colour. I think you are right about the blacked out edition... I think the chrome highlights bring out the contours of the bike better.

Wow! What a lovely machine! My Eluder is kind of like the Chrome Edition with it's few chrome accents. I always thought I would have liked it even better completely blacked out, but when you compared those two Spyders to each other, it made me realize that the little bit of chrome accent makes a huge difference... and I like it. Happy Fri-Yay! Peace and love.
Nice looking spyder for sure. I liked my 2015 RT Spyder limited but these are hard to beat. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. That blue and chrome is sweet. Hopefully you get a dry day so you can ride it home and we can ride along all summer long. Lol

I just saw this video, 3-30-2022. In Michigan we bought a 2020 Red RT LT in June 2020, sold the 2006 Burgman 650 Executive, great bike. I have a 2017 RT LT in Texas until 12-25-2021 when a new 2021 RT LT was delivered and in the Petro Blue Metalic just like the one you reviewed. Love this Spyder. Your review is spot on.... 2017 to 2020/2021 big changes and very much appreciated.
I miss your videos, especially Spyder Videos. You got me started when I bought my first New 2015 Spyder RT in 2015. Maybe you could do a panel removal video on the new 2021.

OMG! That 2020 Spider limited looks like something I would LOVE to ride! At first look, I thought I was going to like the black edition better, but when you compared them back to back to back..., I like the chrome edition better. And that teal color! I have GOT to figure out a way to get me one! Thank you for the update!

Thought you would like that Spyder! I'm a dark edition fan but more on the lighter colors. I have to admit, though, they didn't go overboard on the chrome trim and it looks really nice. They advertise 2" up and deeper on the seat and I believe it. It's wider, too, and seems like it would be a little more comfortable in the long run. My '18 is safe for now, but a couple of years down the line..? As always, be safe you two...

Sounds rather tasty, and those dampers on the panniers are a nice touch but for me it was that blue again, so rich and deep.

Some cool upgrades, I'm not digging the look of where the headlights are located, now. But they probably give a much better visibility at night, safety first. Good stuff Smoak.

Well Smoak, ya got me convinced with this Vlog, been chasing the RTL for about 3 years now, I think BRP nailed it with the 2020. It appears the 2005 GW w/2012 Roadsmith conversion is going on the market.

I'm think'n that the RT and F3 limited will have the same trunk attachment as they are both Linq.

Hi, love your videos. I do have one question. All over RUclips land there is tons of videos regarding RTL’s but very listed videos and reviews regarding the F3L’s. I myself was in the market for an RTL, but the price for a leftover 2020 FeL just couldn’t be passed up(that and who knows when the 2022 models will be available). My wife and I just love our F3L and don’t regret for a second on our decision. It sure would be nice to see more videos on the F3L’s. Thanks

Have you noticed the new LTD Spyder rear passenger rails seals have gaps the rain would poor in rubbish the early ones like mine 2016 tight as a drum mm ?
Beautiful color. Saddle bag is deceptive. Looks larger. Is there a suitcase that fits into the front trunk? If the Nephropathy kicks in, this will be what I ride. May ride it anyway. Throaty roar sounds dieselish; I like it.
Good timing, I'm looking at a new 2019 F3 limited, because of the price diff.of a 2020 RT.My dealer has the exact RT coming in. Having a hard time deciding between the F3 with lower ride height and less weight and the RT with all the new upgrades. Wife wants heated seat that only the RT has. Trading in my 2016 Gold Wing, its getting a little to heavy two up for my 73 year old legs.

Love the color on that RT! It is beautiful and sounds like a truck when you take off! lol. Give me the dark edition! but the chrome one is nice to, good thing I can't afford it so I do not have to make that decision, or is that a bad thing!!!

Like your videos keep up the work, I have a question do's your dealer jack-up the fee's, I check 3 dealers in California and when I went back to them a they up the frees more than the first time 23% more. what a rip-off to the customers.

I test drove the 2020 RT Limited (Same color as the one in the video) I had to do a tag along behind a kid on a sport bike so the trip was short and we never went over 45 in the traffic. The rider and the heated seat and grips were super comfortable but I noticed a little road vibration on the handle bars. I have a 2019 HD Tri-Glide and was considering a trade on the RT. Mind still isn't made up. I need another test drive I think.

No I didn't like the blue spyder rt Ltd 1544 it doesn't flow like the 2016 rt special edition I have they have made the new shape to bulky and the square front sorry the older shape looks like an old race car like early f1 nice it's down to tast anyway thank you.
Looks are definitely subjective for sure, but by far most like the new look over the old. The ride is so much more superior over the old, even if one didn't care for it as much, they'd get over that quickly. 5 years in, it's the most loved Spyder yet.
