great review dude, you're one of the only people I've seen that explains the thing about the battery lasting a long time on these haha, keep up the good work
Yeah active basses tend to be something people stay away from in fear of the 9v going out at an inconvenient time. I have had other active basses and they just eat through the batts. This one did considerably better, to I figured I would mention it! Thanks for watching!
Jag is way cool. I just got a CV and it quickly became #2 of my collection. Previously, snob labels were my only interest. Squier is all about quality, now. Good piece, smooth.
Great review the jazz pickup will have more noise being that it's a single coil. Compared to the precision pickup that is a humbucker and bucks the hum the single coil would make. The output is likely lower on the single coil accounting for less volume. I noticed that some of my guitars with are underwound pickups get quieter.
Fender owns squier, and uses squier as their "entry level" brand, so thats why you see the lower prices and lesser quality. However, they are still excellent instruments!
BASS player here, single coils tend to be noisy, split coil ( humbuckers ) have less noise and more low end. Run a noise gate at the start of your chain.

Awesome review man, also I love that you mention Tyler Joseph :)
Yep. I have a special connection with and our basses match by coincidence :)
How is that you know so much about basses and don't knowing how to play it. Nice video, very informative and technical.
Very informative review, man! Thanks

Love your expression

I got one in my chain now. Thanks!
Split-coils are not humbuckers as far as I know…
I wish they still sold the short scale version... :/
Yea, RIP.
I have a sunburst one
Wanna buy it??
They came out with a medium scale 32” claasic vibe
The battery is for the active bass boost, its not an active bass per se😎
