I signed up tonight... seeing how hard your working and have some decent timber in the back to cut makes for some good watching... I am a old man who did enjoy the old school mills in my day so a band saw is a sweet deal.. My son who is 59 just got a mill so its gonna be interesting here as well
I keep a pickaroon handy for spiking and dragging slabs off - easier on the fingertips. Great channel, I'm glad The Old Man And The Saw led me your way.
Another awesome video! Really appreciate you posting these. I run an Lt 15 standard in Ontario Canada. I cut a lot of dimensional Eastern white Cedar, Spruce and different hardwoods and have learned a ton just watching you run your machine, especially how to deal with flitches at the same time as your cant...would love to see a video tour of your lumber stacks, log piles and the rest of your shed. Hope you keep posting, cus these are amazing, pure sawing videos!
That's showing people how to run a sawmill, ya'll do some good team work. I'm just a loner so far on my mill. Nice video! #TurkeyHollowTimberBeamsandWoodworks
Thanks thats what its about, real time sawing. Yeah we've cut a lot if board footage together its like clockwork. Sawing alone will make you learn a lot.

Cooks blades are the best in your opinion?
@@owencutfield9078 We normally run woodmizer blades but I bought a box of cooks to mix it up a little bit and so far they've worked good
As usual, a super and efficient job. I like the new camera angle.
Thank you! I'm not one for electronics so this is the best video I can get since its recorded on a crap cellphone
@@tlroughsawn2184 Your crap phone works great
