I very much enjoyed the time I spent with Guru Stevan. He was hard to learn from at first, because I was trained to learn techniques and attributes. He taught fighting fundamentals, understanding timing, position, distance and structure. In the end Guru Stevan gave me something better.

Guru Stevan is brilliant. People don't understand that training Sera is like learning how to use a tool. You can only create that which you perfect your level of understanding and skill with the tool to be. A fighter will learn skill and understanding. If your intentions are somewhere else, your fighting understanding and skills will lack those of the fighter. Case closed.
