    Thank you for your video. This is my newest Shimoda bag using for everyday carry of my smaller system. I have several others I use in the field. I think you forgot to mention the Apple I tag holder inside the front pocket that most users should learn about and the included rain cover at the bottom. Take care.

    Thank you! I'm torn between the 20L and 25L so this definitely helps me in making that decision.

      @@VantagePointImages Nice. My only camera bag currently is the Wandrd Prvke Lite and I love it, but I need something for longer trips or when I need to take more of my gear. I love that the Prvke Lite fits under the front seat on a flight. Do you know if that's the case with this bag?

      @@joey.3200, no way. That’s what I was using (it’s in some of my videos) and I haven’t picked it up since getting this one. I will say, I am not certain you can fit that much more in this one.

      @@VantagePointImages Thanks man! You must really like it a whole lot better than, yeah? Did you mean it doesn't fit under an airline seat?

      I haven’t flown with it yet, but it would fit under a seat.

    Thank you for your video. I like this bag but comtemplating because not sure if i can fit a camera stand like yours. You were carrying one and hope you will go through the pro and cons

      This is my go-to bag and I've traveled with it quite a bit since posting the video. I use the Ulanzi Zero F-38 Tripod and it fits nicely.

    Hi! Great review. I have a question though, can the 25 or 30L fit a thick laptop in an EVA case on the back or front laptop compartment? Mine is an ASUS TUF 15.6 gaming laptop at 3cm Thickness that I put in an EVA case for additional protection with 4.5cm thickness when the laptop is inside. I'm just curious because most of my camera bags will fit my laptop but with the Hardshell EVA case then it wont fit anymore. I'm a casual gamer and have mirrorless camera gears and a small drone when I travel. Laptop EVA case with Laptop inside Dimensions are: Length 28cm x Thickness 4.5cm x Height 49cm. Hope you can answer. Thank you!

      I use the 25L bag and not confident that would fit. I think it would be a little too thick. It may fit in one of the larger options.

    If you’re willing to say, do you still use this bag? If so, does the laptop rest against the bottom edge of the bag, or is it padded/suspended? I’ve also heard some people say that the side access door isn’t easy to use in practice, because the camera gets stuck on the rigid frame and the materials… do you find that to be an issue?

    • @VantagePointImages
      @VantagePointImages  20 часов назад

      @@swr410 I still use it and it works very well for my needs. It’s my go-to bag. Most recently we were in St Augustine for a weekend trip. It was perfect for a morning photo walk with the Canon RP and attached RF 70-200 lens placed to get from the side access and brought the Avata 2/goggles/remote as well. Got some great shots and video. For me, I have no issues with the side access but do use a Canon RP which is not all that bulky compared to other camera bodies. A pro for me is the rigid camera cube. To me, it’s better protection for the equipment. I don’t usually carry the laptop in the bag. If leave the laptop in the room to save carry weight.

      @ thanks for the extra info! That’s super helpful. For the laptop… Even if you don’t carry the laptop during day trips, I imagine you have it in the backpack during the flight, right? Does it seem like it clunks on the floor when you set the backpack down, or is there some kind of protection from that?

    How robust is the body, for carry on luggage during a flight? My greatest fear, when taking camera equipment, is getting it damaged due to someone forcing their bag into carry on luggage hold.

    • @VantagePointImages
      @VantagePointImages  3 месяца назад

      @@Peter-rb4xk, I think it’s plenty robust. The backpack has a frame which helps and the cube holds its form well. I’ve traveled with it several times with no issues.

    does this fit underneath airplane seats as a personal item?
