Coincidentally rewatched Kids for the first time in 20 years and here is the legend himself. Was searching for old interviews to understand how far removed he was from the Telly character and it seems he really did portray a different character mentality than his real self which is not easy to Tell because of the documentary style and well acted part.

Caught Bully on TV and showed up here. Glad to see Leo doing well and and giving people a place to chill and take in art. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in the city.

leo's part of that 90s crew from nyc that really had an impact on me. dill, strobeck, leo, lesley arfin, harold, chloe, justin pierce, etc. they were the next in line after basquiat and keith haring. im pushin 40 but still have a desire to move to manhattan because of this crew.

None of it would have existed if not for Warhol and Morrissey. KIDS was the spiritual sequel to The Basketball Diaries too. Carroll had a massive influence on Harmony.

Telly! I think I saw him once in the late 90's at a L.A. rave checkpoint. He was unmistakable. He was sitting shotgun in a car with a couple people in it and asked my friends and I what was going on. We told him it was a rave checkpoint and that he should go. It was Telly dude!

I feel like Leo could really be a catalyst for a young generation to enter the “art” world. All aspects of expression. He is one of those rare adults who can tap into a young generation and give them confidence and a space to flourish. Rewrite what an art gallery is…change the whole experience.

My first time seeing him in a movie was in Bully, as the so called hitman Derek Kaufman. Had to look at other roles and I found another movie with the same director of Bully, “KIDS”

find it interesting the comment about being 40 around 22yr olds. that's how kids got made. the age gap was even bigger.

THERE WAS A RUMOR THAT LARRY CLARK SMOKED ALOT OF METH AND LIKE THE YOUNG BOYS... During 1994-1998 there was a weird teenage runaway gay scene in NYC and apparently it was broken up by a DJ who got convicted of pippin these kids out. Not sure if Larry was guilt by association with this DJ or the story were true?
