That’s one of the best parts about it. He actually tells us to learn how to use 18 and 12 hand PAK SAO. He demonstrates graciously the forms, shares his own experience, and gives us a framework to go by even from far away/ without GARY LAM I would know nothing at all. That’s meaning, out of everybody he shines through the most. 😉💯👈🏻
I messaged this to someone recently and it's worth posting here, too: I have to just say that I personally can't wait to be back in Sifu Lam's back yard school again. Anyone who can travel to Southern California, Monterey Park should definitely do it. You will improve your Wing Chun immediately. Good people there. High skill. Smart. All my time spent there was time well spent. In the meantime, I just train what I learned and practice and try to learn more every day. Thank you to Sifu Lam and to his Students for the time and effort you put into sharing, both in-person and here. Much appreciated.
@@GaryLamWingChunKungFu This is Ian - I'm barely a Level 1 Student but I'm working hard and I'll be back for private training as soon as possible. Thanks again for this great RUclips channel and all your hard work to share with us.
@File66 I've not went out there but talked about going for years. I studied with Jeff Jasquez who studied with several boys who did go out there and so did Jeff , they are part of the Indiana Wing Chun group out there. Many of them keep going back to California often. My issue has been either time or money. When i have one i don't have the other lol. But your comment inspires me to stop making excuses and go out sometime soon. Hopefully! I appreciate your comment. I've seen a lot of other systems of Wing Chun since about 2015 when i started and absolutely my loyalty and heart and soul is to Sifu Lam's lineage 100% . I don't mean to disrespect others, but i see a lot of "odd stuff" taught by other groups that I just can't get with or get behind. Thank you for your inspiring comment.
Another great Dummy video Sifu! I enjoy every one and learn so much. I can't wait to get to California to train and test! One question, I notice most of the Gwoh Sao techniques and Dummy techniques show a counter to your opponents second action, like the Correct Bong Sao here. Could you also go direct from Correct Bong Sao to Po Pai, before he punches again? I'm just thinking that I may not wait for his second punch in that situation. What are your thoughts Sifu?
This is not a video. This is Gold!
Thank you!
@@GaryLamWingChunKungFu Thank you sir.

If you go into a Po Pai after a Correct Bong, you're opponent's second hand can hit you. You need to take an angle. That's why we use the Wrong Bong.
@@GaryLamWingChunKungFu That makes sense. Thank you Sifu
