She has a voice that is instantly recognisable. Very few musicians ever achieve anything like that.
Fun fact: her choir teacher or whatever they were, told her she would never be famous and that she sounded like an annoying goat.
Wonder what they thought when she exploded internationally. She obviously has awesome vocal skills, in a different, unique style that mixes a lot of different influences. Plus she's highly intelligent as well.

I almost didnt watch this because its 9 minutes and i dont usually get into live videos id rather just be there if it's live it makes all the difference, but im so glad i did i loved that guitar and little hum at the beginning and the drum beat while the she's dancing with her sash is chill in the intro. Ok just got to the part where she starts singing loved that orchestral part. This is one of the best livw voices Ive heard. Awh! I thought that was sweet how she went into the crowd.

Absolutely amazing!!! And I'm metalhead normally... and I don't listen to pop. But Shakira has something what makes me blindly love her. She's so shiny and sympatic and looks so naturally. Everybody can see she loves what she does, she loves her fans, and she's famous because of her music and dancing and not because of the scandals and naked scenes. Maybe that's why she's so wonderful to me.
