Fr when the missiles came in I sent out flares but kept getting hit and failing and I can’t get passed it

@@dbeat837 Yes !! There's individuals on the ground shooting missiles at you, they're SO hard to see. When a missile is coming at you, you have to watch where it came from and zoom into the ground to find them. The reason we keep getting killed despite pressing to destroy the missile is because several were shot at once and we can only block one :/ Took me FOREVER. Good luck !!!
This mission sucked, the last one, I’ve been doing this for a good hour or so and I’ve tried switching it to recruit and it still tells me they’ve been overrun,

Okay, finally completed. My advice: thermal, take out the two AA in the field with 1 40mm each. Ignore the others; use flares once the alarm starts beeping. Strafe in front of the station with 40s, toss a missile in the direction of the copter and armored vehicles. When the four final trucks show up, shoot everything.
In my opinion the key is staying focused on your guys on the rooftop. Don't get distracted from that.
There isn't enough time to take out the RPGs & incoming vehicles from the soccer field AND protect your guys on the roof too (at least not enough for this old vet 🙂).
In other words, focus your offense on taking out ground troops closing in on the building where your guys are on the roof but also maintaining a defense from RPGs by popping flares. It's tight but this was the only way I was able to finish the mission.

This mission is a pain in the ass.

I found this mission nearly impossible, I'm colour blind and even when I switched it to black and white I still struggled to find the difference between the enemy and the good guys. Way to much going on to fast at a very short time before you die. I got through it after about an hour and needed to take pain killers as it gave me a horrible headache during the mission.
So when I didn’t fire the middle I dies
yeah you gotta take out the armored vehicles and the helicopter (while protecting the guys) and the anti-air (using flairs to keep the missiles off you) until evac comes
What about the guys entering the school that’s what I’m failing it keeps saying keep the treats from entering the building so I don’t know which building
I can get rid of the missile dudes but I can't save them from getting overrun

Edit: I figured it out.. you have to wait until you hear the siren noise when missile is coming don’t hit the flares as soon as you see the warning wait until you start hearing the warning noise. Plus you can see the rpg coming from a distance if you aren’t zoomed in wait until the Rocket is kinda close then do the flare ( 8:09 is the warning noise I’m referring to )
EVERYONE, listen to this guy!!! He knows what he's talking about. I waited until the alarm, and it worked. You'll get targeted one after the other a couple times, and if you wait and hit the flares right when the alarms sound, you'll have time to get another flare off after the reload.

I figured it out after like 20 attempts. I guess you have to find all the people shooting the missiles at you and just take them out it makes the mission a lot easier.

Yeah, I figured that out. Also finally completed mission after I stopped worring about RPG sites and 2 vehicles from the soccer field and just focused on protecting my guys on the rooftop and launching flares for the RPGs.

You need to zoom out as soon as the missile alerts you will see where its coming from.
Yes yes, we I failed a couple times too but honestly, it wasn't too hard at all. It was actually, if you listened to the guys talking, pretty easy to spot where to shoot. At some point I just loaded in the fucking bombs and started blasting everything I saw moving, and it helped. Just keep your eye out on civilians and obviously, your team.
Just finished the mission thanks to this, it took 4 hours because my monitor kept turning off

USE THE LTM!!!
Stay focused on the restaurant
Make sure to use flares on every missile
I guess infinity ward learned their lesson after making death from above too easy

@@jeffreyramsaur796 COD4 death from above was an AC-130 mission, and infinity ward made it probably as the easiest mission ever in COD, now in MW2022 this mission is a bit too hard

Guys this mission sucks, but there are some anti-air squads you can take out to make it easier to focus on rescuing ghost soap and alejandro. One of the squads is near the soccerfield and another near the school.
i’ve noticed with the flares don’t move your camera as much and see how close or far they are too far = nah you gon die, too close = nah ypu gon die too

For anyone wondering. You have to pay attention to where the missiles are coming from. They are guys on the ground you have to cliggity clap. Do that and all that extra bullshit. And it’s not that hard.

4 hours and can't find a strategy that works or figure what I'm doing wrong.
I just finished this mission, y’all need to destroy the upcoming vehicles and helicopters and there are two guys near the football field you need to kill them. Then you just need to kill the maximum of guy near the building
Yes got it just set the flares when the missile locks on you and you will get it.
This mission is a piece of shit... It makes me hate the whole game campaign because it's too damn fucked up lol
Why are we playing a flight Sim in an FPS franchise. If I wanted to play aircraft I would play BF2042. BAD LEVEL DESIGN!! Now the campaign is closed to me because I cannot beat this on recruit. What is the actual difference between recruiting and normal pn this level.......absolutely nothing the game doesn't scale or change they lied!!!!!

It’s not the middles I’m having trouble with. It’s that when a single enemy runs in the building the mission fails. However, I can’t shoot that enemy cause I’ll hit the god damn building

This mission is awful. There were many times it wouldn’t even tell me a missile was coming then boom my plane is down. Or I’d launch my flares “too early” and they wouldn’t suffice. If the instructions are to launch flares when it says there’s one coming then it shouldn’t matter when I press the button. Still haven’t gotten past it. I’ve played it two nights in a row. All the missions before this were fun and challenging at times but this is ridiculous.
I feel ya. I press the down button to launch flare and it works and immediately it says im targeted again and the down button doesn't do anything and I get struck down...
i just can’t find the rpg guys and it’s killing me!! been stuck for hours and i’m even on recruit difficulty!!!!

Unfortunately the game just really doesn't want you to get passed that mission.
Dont spam the flares, whenever you hear the missiles beep fast or slow then press the flare button 2 or 3 times

@@aarongrine2079 yes! so the missiles are coming from enemies on the ground with rocket launchers. when you see the red text "incoming missiles" look to see where on the ground the smoke is coming from. click the button to use the flares and then shoot to kill the people shooting rockets at you
