@The Panenka Podcast. Tbh I didn’t know Andre Schurrle was that young, Schurrle’s playing ability had started to decline in recent years. Schurrle wasn’t the same player he was when he was playing for Chelsea and when he won the World Cup. Schurrle much like players in Owen, Torres and Rooney peaked at a young age
Lil Kash yeah he never got a red card. Probably knew he was a relied on by the manager to be consistent in matches. He didn’t need to get a red as he always made the tackle 🙌
In fairness he probably could’ve played for Bayern. It may have stunted Kimmich’s development, but in Pep’s system Lahm could just slip into a back three when Alaba pushes forward. This would probably be a lot easier for him. But he went out on a high so I can’t blame him.
The title says TOO SOON... Schurrle said he was tired of the downs and too many downs since 2014.. so if anything he retired TOO LATE for his mental health

I think Van Basten should be here becoz he retired at the age of 31. Although he suffered a lot of injuries, he was still one of the best striker at that time.
I felt Gerrard left Liverpool too soon, Shearer retired from England far too soon, and Scholes also retired from England a bit too soon, Lampard, Drogba, Cech and Ashley Cole left Chelsea a bit too soon. Cantona definitely retired too soon, and I felt Zidane had a couple of more years left in him. If it wasn't for Torres’s decline he could’ve still been playing at a top level today, if Messi and Ronaldo in their mid 30’s are both still playing at an elite level then if it wasn’t for Torres’s decline he would still be playing at a top level today. Rooney also left Man United a bit too soon as well. I also felt Adam Johnson retired way too soon as well (kidding) 😂

Not true. Dortmund have been buying out Bundesliga much more than bayern, and Bayern always had a better youth academy which produced the likes of lahm, schweinsteiger, muller, alaba, kroos, hummels and so on
Andre Schurrle really..I thought he was still playing somewhere BTW I'm tryna upload content related to Premier League..Would you mind checking it as well? Cheers
Unbelievable that Andre Schurrle has retired at the age of 29, such a waste of talent:/
He don't love the game like he did in the past?
Tell that to Eric Cantona missed the treble

He did win a World Cup and a PL title with Chelsea, he had a decent career 🤷🏽♂️
Real talk, mans is probably happier without the burden of being a pro footballer. He's set financially, now he can live his life.
I think it was perfect timing for lahm to retire, ended on a high and was the fact that he was never red carded
He probably could of played for a few more years in the MLS for teams like Chicago or New York but he knew he wanted to end at Bayern with integrity
Is my content any good I need some feedback thanks bro I’m advance

Phillip Lahm was brilliant and one of the most consistent defenders for Bayern.
U missed the gr8est striker along with R9 - Van Basten who retired at 29 years - being the best striker in world football at that time.
Where is André schurrle who retired a few days ago
the script seems to have been written before he retired.
And where should he have gone to? The last few years were shit for him personally I think he did the right thing
I was wondering that myself. In between having a shot for each ad. Needless to say I'm goosed.
He’s been awful since his Chelsea move, I don’t think he’s anywhere near the level of the players in this video at the point of retiring.
The title says TOO SOON... Schurrle said he was tired of the downs and too many downs since 2014.. so if anything he retired TOO LATE for his mental health
How on earth did Bayern's find another lahm in Kimmich

This video should be retitled "players who could have possibly played one more season"
Nakata could have played for a lot longer?
@@Joshua-hf5ui a couple of the players mentioned could have, easily. But when you're retiring at 33-34, full of aches and pains, it's not too soon.
You should do a video about the most versatile players ever

He was centre back for AJax in 1995 when they won the UCL
HE was a DM for most of his career in AC Milan
and with Gullit injured in 1990, he played a more upfront midfield role for the Dutch at the World cup
I’d say Alaba is more versatile he plays LB,CB,DM and plays CAM for Austria
King would’ve been the perfect replacement for Sol Campbell. Just sucks he’s had such an injury prone career.
If King had stayed fit he’d of been one of the best defenders in the world, somehow would miss 5 or 6 games then come back and still look world class
GK: Dino Zoff
Where is Andre Schurrle who retired at 29
Including Ledley King in this list but NOT Marco Van Basten is beyond explanation.
