Glad to see I'm not the only one who always underestimates the amount of glue to pour out on a table like this. Looking good! Plunge routers seem to have relatively good dust collection ports on them so I try to use it when I am messing with MDF nastiness. Looking good!
Jeff Ferguson haha, yeah I definitely underestimated the amount of glue needed! Yeah I definitely gotta get some dc hooked up for the router, I made a huge mess with that MDF. Thanks, man.
Nice!! 2 for 1 deal. Got to love them projects. Looks real sturdy and perfectly flat mdf makes a good out feed top tookeep em comin..have a good one man!
Nice shop table. You can't underestimate the use of 2x4's for this type of project. I need to build another one for an outfeed/build table and have bounced between just using 2x4's and all plywood. I haven't had much luck with casters holding tables in place. My shop floor is pretty slick and any caster (either provided on a tool or one that I have put on) seems to still want to slide. Unfortunately, I still occasionally park cars in my shop so I need my tools/table to be mobile. Thanks for the video, keep em' coming.
David Colley Thanks man, the main reason I chose to use 2x4's was that they are cheap and i had plenty of them haha. I built it the way I did for strength as well as weight. After getting everything assembled and all my crap on the bottom shelf it seems to stay fairly stationary. I guess we'll see over time, thanks for watching!
So talk to me about your table saw. It looks like the Grizzly G0690 (the same one Jay Bates just got rid of). I just bought one and put it together, but haven't had a chance to really do any cutting on it... How do you like it? Also, It says Lane Bros, I haven't' seen the bro.... :). Keep up the good work. I don't have a RUclips channel, but you can check out my projects at southerngrain.wordpress.com
David Colley it is a 690 and I love it, zero complaints! Lanebros is a name I came up with to include my three older brothers who I'm very close with, they will be in some videos, but primarily I'll be in most of them. If you watch my shop organization video you'll see my oldest brother Jason in that one.
I have the same router, and picked up the dust collection add-ons. One is specifically for edge work, and hangs below the baseplate. Seems to catch most of the dust.
I've also been using my table saw as an assembly table for about a year now, I'm way overdue for a table like this. It also doesn't take up a lot of real estate, which would be optimal for my small shop. You have any plans or a sketch maybe you could share?
Nice project. I like the way it came together.
Looks great man, seems like it should be super sturdy. Your table saw thanks you!
Braxton Wirthlin Thanks dude, I figured you'd be happy, you been looking out for the well being of my table saw for a while now haha.
That outfeed table will come in handy. Nice shop addition.
WoodRodent Thanks, i think it will too!
you are going to love this new addition to your shop. I know I love my new outfeed table! Thanks for sharing!
Tomy Hovington Thanks Tomy
Man, another awesome build Matt! I wish so bad that I had room for a work table at my house. Not having a garage really sucks. Love your work.

Thanks, yeah I can imagine! Thanks for watching!!

Great build, but now I don't have any excuse for not building a good table for myself. Thanks, Matt.
I definitely subscribed.

Nice job!
Nice use of pocket holes. I use my corded drill all the time. I think it has more powere than the cordless.
+Mike Belik Thanks man, I also like my corded drill!
Lane Bros WoodShop I really need to build an outfeed table for my shop soon as well...
WoodworkingManiak Yeah, it's a fun project and one you'll wonder why you didn't build sooner.

Charlie Thompson Thanks for subscribing!
What kind of wood have you take ?
+samuel pharand
If you're asking the type of wood I used to build it, it's just construction grade pine 2x4 material.
Hi all what type of plywood did he use for the top?
3/4 ply with 3/4 MDF sandwiched on top
What's the dimensions of your table?
+Tommy Calvano
I believe it's like three feet by four feet, can't really remember though. I believe the dimensions are in the article.
