I was at their concert in summer of 2021 and am still emotionally moved by the sheer amount of heaviness. This band somehow manages to be more motivational and gut-wrenching than Pantera without going overboard and turning from groove metal to black metal (with too many embellishments and such). They do it to the degree that I haven't been able to find a band that is even comparable, maybe other than some of Chimaira's work. They just tie together a touch of thrash with INCREDIBLE lyrics and drive to make my all-time favorite groove metal band. Oh, and they aren't emo or weak; it's like they show you how fucked up the world is and then conjure your motivation to fix it through sheer will. God I wish I knew about this band in high school

At first (about Art Cruz, the new drummer) I was very negative about him replacing Chris. I have been a fan for a solid 7 - 8 years. But when I listened to how he plays, from a drummer's perspective and from a fan's perspective - he sounds very good. 🤘🤘🤘

I've seen this in person twice and it is just as incredible now as it was then. I love Randy's vocals so much.
I was at Download Festival at Donington in 2007. That show still brings a tear to my eye this day.
I'm going to see them again next year, I would have seen them in April if it wasn't for Covid19.

While i am really sad, that Chris is gone from LoG, but goddamn Art is killing it and the new album is amazing so i'm glad they have him. Hope all the best for the band in the future!!!
Art is a bad ass drummer. He plays in another really good band Prong.
chris specifically chose him to replace him. He did not come there by chance. He is a very good drummer but he was always almost anonymous now with log is that many are knowing him

First two songs the punch in the f♡cking face I need . 1st laid to rest maybe one of my absolute favorites live from LOG. The lyrics hit me hard since I listened to on repeat after my son died from pediatric brain cancer. 2nd " NOW YOU YOU'VE GOT SOMETHING TO DIE FOR" 3rd "Ruin" HELL YEAH! I blacked out after that from the head banging in thin air. I live at 6000 ft above sea level 🤘🏔

i was lucky to be spoiled early on by lamb of god. so many people would show me heavy metal etc and i would always be so disappointed because literally nothing is as groovy and heavy as lamb of god, all other death metal stuff is just bland and grindy in comparison
