I switched from the pixel too the iPhone in 2020 and both phones are so similar that I forgot I even had an iPhone for the first few months. But Apple has a better ecosystem overall between all of its products, macbook/desktop, earbuds, watch, phone & ipad. Everything just works flawlessly. Apple has very good warranty, & the products are good quality.
i came form Galaxy A52s 5G (and broke my 14 in a 2 months i'm still waiting for it to get back from warranty it takes a month now, Apple and Poland...)
I was so close to getting the 14 Pro, but I decided to get the normal 14, because of these reasons. 1: It's a lot lighter, and feels more comfortable in the hand. 2: It has slightly better battery life than the Pro. 3: Apple will continue to make the normal 14 for around 3 years, where as the 14 Pro will be discontinued as soon as the 15 Pro drops. That means better repair ability support. Tbh if I had the Pro, I would've never used the Pro features anyways lol.

Other than a couple hardware differences (which aren't major to most people), I don't see the point in spending the extra $200-$300. Unless you have money to burn. Not to mention, the niceness of the phone will be obstructed by a case. If I wanted a camera phone, I would look at Samsung. The S23 has a better camera for the same, if not, cheaper than the regular 14. But I wanted a good battery, so I chose iPhone. I have a DSLR, so I don't need any fancy cameras.

I like the “pro is not financially worth it” - same girl. I have the money to buy the pro but I my mind can’t wrap around the idea of spending that much for a phone that I will replace in 2 to 3 years max.

I have my iPhone 14 in purple for a week now. It was the 1st iPhone that I opened the box at my carrier. It was so cool to opened the box. I still have my iPhone SE 2 in white as backup just in case something goes wrong with my iPhone 14. I also have an iPhone 8 in silver grey.
I’m upgrading from the x to the 14 plus it’s coming next week I’m so glad I found a video of someone talking about the normal one and not pro everyone talking about how there isn’t a big difference from the 13 to 14 but for me it’ll be a big difference 😂 thank you for this video

I haven’t shattered or broken an iPhone camera (knock on wood) but this one does seem more bulky so it’s not a bad idea! I think I would get annoyed having to take it off all the time but I bet you could try it out & return it if you don’t like it
No the thing stuck to the box was a piece of tape to seal the box back when you are shipping the trade in phone it comes standard in all the boxes I’ve ever received when i had to send a phone back it just got stuck to the back of the phone lol

I’m debating on getting the 14 Plus or 14 Pro Max and upgrading from my iPhone 11. Since I read on my phone, I want a bigger screen and I’m not convinced I’ll like the dynamic island lol. I might get the plus and trade in for a 15 or 16 in a year or two. My phones last me about 3 or 4 years so might even be the iPhone 17 or 18 I get after the 14 😂

Not completely backed up. I transferred all my photos to a hard drive from my old phone before I upgraded then I had to re download and re sign in to everything

When I went to T-Mobile last Saturday, the trade in for the iPhone 14 costs 200 dollars. It’s expensive for me to buy it because I only have 55 dollars and I have to earn some money by doing Doordash or Instacart with my dad.

Or is it just with the hands and camera angles i don't know, fill me in!
Lol I always thought the same thing and I preordered the 14 base model thinking it was larger in hands after watching videos, but when I saw the iPhone 13 in stores, I canceled my preorder for the 14 because it’s so much more tiny in person than in videos😂.

If your leaning more towards the 14 look at the 14 pro max because it has the same size as the 14 with similar specs as the 14 pro

It’s definitely not only black. In some lights it’s a dark blue tint :)
