nothing official ever starts at 12 noon on a Friday in Malaysia you guyss!! That's because Friday prayers happen at around 1pm and almost all Muslim male population will attend them. Loving your videos btw!
The one you are eating that looks like the shape of one of the Putrajaya bridges is called ‘Karipap’ or curry puff. The ‘Keria’ comes in round just like donut. If you to go to the northern states, the one still in a round shape but smaller is called ‘peneram’. These are traditional Malay food. Enjoy the food or ‘kueh’ you will find more in different states.
@@wattstraveling There are many delicacies coming with it such as chicken, beef and just potatoes and we pronounced it karipap, sound exactly like curry puff 🤗
Thank for joining with Malaysia celebration The potato with chicken is Samosa. The "Kueh Keria" is made with sweet potato and glazed sugar Do try out Assam Pedas, spicy gravy cooked with chicken fish or string ray or chicken.
At 3:36, the donut you mentioned is “Kuih Keria” which is a traditional Malay delicacy. It is made from boiled sweet potato and rice flour. Coated with brown sugar (palm sugar). Some are also coated with with white sugar. Then they are deep fried in oil.
Have you visit the Malaysian Army Museum in Port Dickson. Other than exhibits related to Workd War II, the Confrontation and the insurgencies, there is a tunnel built to illustrate how the Army have fought the communist terrorists in the 1950s to the ‘80s. It is underneath the first building. It is quite a long tunnel showing how the bandits make use of them during the Malaysian Emergencies (twice). BTW Port Dickson itself is an Army Town.
Im from Johor Bahru but i also loveeee visiting Melaka! Ur video is awesome! Hope both of u have a great time in Malaysia! Cant wait for ur nxt video! Take care ok!
Hi, I'm Hafiz from Sabah Malaysia 🇲🇾😊 I'm here to watch your video 👋🏻😊🇲🇾 every September 16 we will celebrate Malaysia Day. Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak will celebrate Malaysia Day every September 16 🇲🇾😊 Malaysia Day is the formation of Malaysia on September 16, 1963 🇲🇾😊
I know for foreigners it sound weird why there is independence day followed by malaysia day. Independence on august 31st 1957 was for malaya. Borneo and singapore were still under british rule. In 1963 all the colonies agreed to join with malaya to form malaysia. Of course in 1965 singapore pulled out.
Addition to that, sarawak's independence on 22 july 1963 meanwhile sabah the same date with malaya on 31st august but different year which is also 1963 as sarawak ❤❤❤ i m sarawakian and i love MALAYSIA 🇲🇾
@@zainal5713 Yup. Sarawak gained independence later joining the Malaysian Federation, similar to the same way Texas gained independence and later joining the United States.
