Hi Angelo. This is one of Matia Bazar's most popular songs of the 70s. In 1980 "Il Tempo Del Sole" was released, an album that was also highly melodic, in their style. But just a year later the LP "Berlino, Parigi, Londra" was released in which they completely changed their style. It was an incredible transformation, no group or singer in Italy had ever made such a change in musical style in such a short time. Try reacting on "Fantasia", a dark and disturbing song that refers to the imminent end of the Second World War in Europe, or on the cover of "Lili Marleen", or "Io ti voglio adesso" or any other song on the LP. I' m sorry but in this case, I think, "voglie" means "cravings", "desires" more than "birthmarks".
When they had Antonella in the band, they were one of the best bands in Europe... After she decided to quit the band, their music worsened a lot.
However, we are lucky to have had those golden days, that produced some of the best italian albums ever.
