Nice work on the scope gimble 3d printers are now assembling a market here in South Carolina Columbia university of S.C students started 3 D for many projects they usually couldn't afford to make now it's a matter of collecting bottle plastic 😅
The circle for the observatory looked so small until you stepped next to it lol I am just an amateur in programming, but I managed to use chatGPT to go far beyond my abilities. Maybe it could make an observatory more plausible, too Otherwise, I am excited to see how the dual scope will perform! The tilt is definitely something I didn't think about before
Yes, we all have half finished projects lying around. I finally finished my allsky camera, and I'm slowly finishing up my 3x135mm samyang setup. Btw, I can highly recommend the Altair dualband filters - zero halos!
Yup I've got half finished projects to finish to Andy as I still need to get the Newtonian sorted but I just haven't got round to it, mind you it doesn't help when your astro mojo is at an all time low but hopefully I'll get back to it soon. I only got myself a dome as it was £155 on eBay & money is tight, it's a home made one & quite heavy to shove around so I cannot see it ever being fully automated plus I wouldn't have a clue on how to do it either. Not that I mind staying up keeping an eye on things as should anything go wrong I'm there to sort everything out, ideally if I could of afforded it a roll off roof or roll off shed would have probably been the way to go for me.
Droids and the intelligence of its continuous loops of information it does a lot of work for little time but that's a pretty expensive thing to buy but they will assemble anything that shows the value it draws information in and products out there is a literal expression of intelligence itself a droid will be on the market place before we know it and cheaper then a car
Great video Andy nice to see you two have a few unfinished projects so it's not just me lol, looking forward to seeing more of your content
