How to make a Chocolate Flower | Cherry Blossom Design
Hi guys
I hope you enjoyed the video, this was my take on the cherry blossom flower. I used simple tools at home to do this, nothing elaborate.

You can use wax paper for the petals but to get the glossy finish i would suggest dessert acetate or even clear copy sheets from an Office shop, they work just as great.

Thank you I wan t to create this but 3x bigger just one big flower made as a topper on a buttercream cake not fondant for Mother's Day ...does that sound possible ????

Its tough to say, the bigger the flower the more likely it will break. it might not hold up very well. Your better off make smaller ones and clustering them together. A very large flower would be heavy and could crack or break because you need more chocolate too. Hope that helps

Yours are so incredibly beautiful, it is definitely harder then it looks. I nearly ripped my hair out and I just finished the petals! I usually work with frosting so the flow of chocolate is throwing me through a loop. I hope mine come out half as good as yours!

Hi what's the difference between candy melts and chocolates? Can I just use chocolate instead of candy melts? Thanks

So candy melts is a type of cooking chocolate which is made to set hard onces melted. Most regular chocolates we use can be melted but needs tempering ( a process that evenly distributes the coco butter content in the chocolate so it can hard again) otherwise it may to set properly and become dull.
If you use cooking chocolate its made to set hard again. but regular chocolate doesn't do this and your designs will not work properly. Hope that helps
