Custom Shifter Knob made by Sir [e-mail]

Circa 2019 Sir Aighead ( [e-mail] ) said that he was trying to learn how to turn wood on a lathe, and he asked for some project ideas, so I asked him to make a shift knob for my 20 year old, junkbox Honda Accord. I figured a n00b's project would be perfect for a car that I hoped to beat to death, and maybe set on fire.
Instead, he sent me this exquisite item. It's been sitting on my dresser for about three years, because I can't bring myself to put it in that lousy car.
It's a crime to leave this beautiful, handcrafted treasurer on a shelf unused, but it's just as criminal to put it in my shitty Honda.
I have been asking myself what to do with this shift knob for three years, and the answer has been staring me in the face the whole time.
