helloo :) a little studio vlog of me unboxing packages for items that are coming to my shop update on April 17th, as well as some stuff for my sakura collection coming in a few months from now~
Plushie story (long story short, the 1000+ pcs of plushies on the way to me are considered oops plushies so I won't be selling them).
Basically I received my second samples and there are a few problems with the big plush as well as the small one (keychain plush).
The big plush's fabric circumference is too big, and my manufacturer did not put enough stuffing, and this is a huge problem because it makes the plush look easily deformed (for example, if you lay on it it'll turn into a pancake, or if you punch it, the plush doesn't turn into the original shape lol). The fabric is VERY SOFT which is the pros, however I just feel disappointed because I spent a lot of time prototyping it to look like the first sample (right plush in the video @ 1:36).
As for the small keychain plush, the problem is that when it is clipped, the fabric gets pinched up so the shape of the plush becomes a bit different, and there is also the problem with that it gets easily deformed since there is not enough stuffing.
It doesn't look too bad on camera but it is very noticeable in person and that's why I think I'm not going to offer the big ones (i'll probably give them away at events). I'm just sad cos I put a lot of trust into the supplier after receiving the first sample (which I was very happy with the materials and all, it just needed a small visual alter). But before I even confirmed the 2nd samples I received, they had already made the bulk and sent everything out D: I'm currently still discussing this issue with my supplier and waiting for their reply to see if I can get the actual designs made as we discussed.
But for now, I don't have plans to put the plushies up for sale on my online store. for the small one, I might give them as special freebies. I hope you guys are not too disappointed because I too was looking forward to offering these plushies :(( I hope to find a solution soon and be able to offer you all plushies that I am 100% confident in!

I definitively buy them. And for the plushies, you can maybe sell them as oops plushie? Individually or in sets with a small and a large at a low price like that way you will not lose too much money on it and I think we would be several to buy it 🥰

Can I ask, what size canvas and which dpi do you use in Procreate to get such a high quality image? Mine are always coming out blurry, even though I use up to 600dpi and are even blurry when I downscale them to add to washi tape designs. It’s very upsetting :/ I love your work by the way, your channel is so inspirational to me! ✨🌸

I feel like that was just a huge waste of money and hope. I'm so sorry for you, that you had to go through 1000+ defects plushies. T~T it's disheartening to see all of that go south. Make the best that you can with the defects and hopefully, it will be a bit better :)
