I bought a guitar and its neck was far from perfect. I did something with it, it's better now but still waits in a gig bag for round 2. I was trying to love playing it, but I hate it so don't know when the next round comes. I bought 2 more guitars in between for half the price and they both feel much better. The "Allen guy" would be William G Allen. He designed the Allen wrench in 1910. Probably the best screw/wrench design ever. I have two Squier Bullet Strat hardtails. Both Lake Placid Blue. I bought the first one for my 10 year old grandson just over a year ago, and liked it so much I bought another one for myself. I may replace the white pickguard, pickup covers, and knobs with black ones on mine. Or maybe not. I sure wish Fender made a Player Strat hardtail. I think they would be quite popular. I have three Fender Strats including an APII HSS, and have the bridges blocked on all of them.
