He’s a. got it mapped out with his keyboards repeat delay (select barracks hold marauder key for .x seconds, hold marine key for .Y) and he can do this from anywhere he doesn’t have to shift his screen. The hard part is trying to micro three armies at once by using the minimap to change screens.
The macro looks like it's part of his rhythm - kite, macro, kite, macro. Definitely don't see that in lower leagues given how fast he does a round of production before attack kiting again. It's like Clem switching screens to land a cc 1 second before banes are on top of his marines and yet he still manages to come back in time to dodge.
I wish I could explain to people just how insanely impressive this is. This is Warcraft 3 micro with starcraft 2 late game macro. He's the goat. He's insane. It's just beautiful.
Just watching what units/buildings are selected in the bottom part of the screen is dizzying enough. Add to that the micro clicks and the screen changes, it’s hard to imagine how one even begins to develop the skills to play Pro SC2
@@StarcraftShorts lol no. He’s using the minimap to switch between bio groups. Maybe If you slow the game down one of them is hotkeyed but most of that camera movement is done via the minimap.
@@OpiatesAndTits He has the one in the main hotkeyed, the one at the 3rd hotkeyed and the middle one he's using the minimap for. OP asked for the shortcut to move quickly between army's. You can see Maru is actually quite slow at getting to his natural army relative to the other two.
Some pros hide them to prevent accidentally clicking on them and to prevent people from finding out who they are if they're using barcode accounts. Because some pros have pretty obvious hotkey's, it's easy to find out who the player is.
@@wortyle I was joking, but how does it prevent people from finding out their accounts? Doesn't it still save in the replay, just not display on the player's end if they have the option set?
@@fatcatzero yeah I'm not sure why the other guy thinks playing a game with them hidden means they will be hidden during the replay if you don't have that setting on. It's an account setting for the UI, not a setting in the replay
@@wortyle There's a setting for having hotkeys onscreen without being able to select them via mouse. And hiding hotkeys in your settings don't hide them in replays iirc. I have no idea why he hides them, though. Personal preference?
@@sleepy4118 I think it's because that is his timing attack and the point is to kill the opponent with it so future macro is not relevant. Also I think he was almost maxed and near a supply block so combat units are more important.

Every Korean pro-gamer I've seen with a facecam has had the exact same stoic expression from beginning to end. Koreans are just built this way lol
Games are a lot less fun when it's your job. Just playing unranked instead of ranks makes the game overall more fun to play since you aren't under any pressure of losing points. For me at least.

Looks like he’s using the minimap for most of it. Click over one fight on the minimap, micro quickly, go to the next fight.
