Ive just had a hair transplant and i am greying. Im not quite salt and pepper just uet but I have a good bitnof grey. My doctor is planning to do smp in 6 months to improve density. I will wear my hair a bit longer by then. He explained thwt there are different pigment colours for snp but overall adding a darker colour smp to match the dark brown element of my hair wont be a problem later if i go grey as much of what smp does is create shading on the scalp to eliminate that scalpy look in balding man.

Have you had any problems since your ear transplant?

I'm slightly balding and have a fair amount of greys. I shave my hair probably 3 times a week with a foil shaver and notice that after about a day once the hairs begin to regrow the grey hairs become very noticeable in certain lighting as they reflect light.
My worry is as I get on in age and further bald, and most of my hair goes, won't it look silly if my remaining hair on the back and sides reflects light while the SMP throughout the front and middle of my hair doesn't? I might have to foil shave my hair daily to stop the light giving away where I've had SMP.
Not a big deal but I was wondering if you've had any experience with customers in this position - those who have way more grey hairs than us and a lot less hair/more SMP. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Can you microneedle after having SMP?
I've read the concern is it will impact the SMP results causing it to fade. My understanding of this is this is because most microneedles are approx. 1.5mm in length when it comes to hair maintenance/restoration, which is a similar length to the needles used in SMP. However, what if you use a 0.5mm microneedle on your scalp instead, to prevent further hair loss. Would that be okay? Thanks

Is it true most SMP turns blue after a while?

Most low quality SMP, yes. If you use the correct depth, pigment size and pigment type, it should only lose contrast over time.
