Ditto, I’m a Jazz addict and have photographed some of the greatest living artists in the US and it does my heart good to witness the jazz universe from around the globe.. This sound is amazing and I can’t wait to hear it live somewhere somehow
Was lucky to be present at her performance in Montreal Jazz Festival. Absolutely marvelous compositions and what an incredible talent. I left the concert after her show as I wanted the music to resonate undisturbed.
I saw your concert a couple hours ago yesterday, and i loved it. it was also my last Big Band concert i would ever participate in... its an odd feeling, doing 9 consecutive years of music concentration at school and then it ending like it did. It just didnt feel real. Anyway... it was a pleasure seeing, and as a former musician now, you guys were pros, genuinely. Keep going. I absolutely smashed(to perform well) Whiplash (one of the songs we played) and i loved it.
The video makes no sense. It has no relevance to the music. Just someone riding a motorbike, taking a sailboat and swimming. The music is good, just show the musicians performing.

There is no need for the motorbike, the sailboat, and the swimming; it's all gratuitous and unnecessary. It's like trying to make something better by adding 'more' to it, but making it worse. If the intention is to showcase Thailand's scenic and cool vibes, then it falls short of delivering on that score. Since this is not a 'pop' music video or something that is leveraging the video for extra dynamic visual effect to enhance the music, but more a really good funky jazz vibe, the extra bits only lower the quality of the result. You can check out 'The Zawinul Syndicate' to get a better understanding of my meaning, which is not to diss Miss Salin, but just to provide constructive criticism. Just get more cameras, get close up shots of some of the musicians doing their thing, and edit those in to improve the visual interest. Of course, with live performances there are no 'do-overs,' so this one is 'done and dusted,' but for future reference, that might be something to consider.
