This is kind of off-topic, but I always find it funny how Empress Xiaoxian was always preaching frugality. We see grown-up Jingse always wearing the prettiest clothes and jewelry, not gaudy at all, but definitely far from frugal...
Its funny she thinks she is fighting for her mother's rights and honour. But her very same mother sold her dreams that she is untouchable. The late empress never told her that the harem is very dangerous place for someone like her especially after what her mother did to some of the women in there. So even after the death of the late empress the princess had a target on her back.
As the concubine in real life who outlived everyone, this was nice to see that she got a mention in the drama.
Consort Wan is the kind of character/ person that survive because everybody overlooked her. She was no threat and posed no threat.
