I can see that now that you've pointed it out. I think you're combo of Li/Be would be pretty awesome. I love how bright the Be neck pickup is when it's split.

Ordered a 6 string Zeus with trem with Beryllium pickups.... I wanted a little lower output than the Lithiums. I am with you .. they sound a bit harsh for me. I do a lot of fusion stuff but I like a bit smoother sound... Should be getting my Zeus in a month !!!

which of the two pickups (Beryllium/Lithium) sound closer to the PRS pickups? I own a PRS (Selling it, and prolly won't buy another because they cost an arm and a leg) and the pickups are the best sounding i've ever had. Really like the playing, i'm gonna steal one of those didleys for myself. lol
For some reason, when you get to the neck/bridge split, or the neck split, you adopt a very soft, fingerpicky style. I'd like to see you play the same riffs there as you played in the bridge split position, to hear the difference. Also, I have yet to hear a demo of the beryllium single coils.

Nuul1000 seems like beryllium is for the lower gain tones while lithium is for heavier stuff

I'm sure we will have some high gain samples eventually, but these pickups are more voiced for classic style tones than modern high gain tones.
